Fun fact : inosuke made his own breathing style ,beast breathing, which is derived from wind breathing and the big thing about it is that he was never trained properly like zenitsu and tanjiro and yet he was still able to make it with out practicing wind breathing

But that’s impossible because Inosuke grew up on the mountains without any knowledge of breathing forms or the demon slayers. The demon slayer corps simply considers beast breathing to be a branch of wind breathing due to their similarity. But beast breathing is technically an entirely original form in its own conception.

Come to think of it, this concept is cool because idk if anyone can share the same breathing style as a hashira I thought if you’re a hashira you’re the pinnacle of your breathing form. I guess zenitsu is hashira for breathing form 1 and 7 why kaigaku is 2-6.
This is also a missed opportunity to actually make tanjiro the sun-water hashira. If two can share a hashira for the same breathing, 1 should be able to have two breathing titles as well. This concept is so under utilized in the manga. They could’ve made tanjiro unique by him creating combination breathing forms of sun and water. He used it in entertainment district and it barely seen the light again.
I feel like Aoi could also be a hashira in this au?
