To me Marvel Vs. Capcom appearing on a Nintendo Direct is a big deal and was quite a surprise along with the other major reveals here. For two major companies being in good graces again to port these delisted games in one package was something I didn't see coming. Personally I've been waiting for a long time to play "Marvel Super Heroes" on a Nintendo system.
Man, i shxt bricks when they announced that! I love those games to bits! ...except the Punisher. Idk what they were thinking with that
that's awesome!! i've played one of the MVC games a long time ago, but it never really stuck with me since i'm not super a fighting game person, but i'm happy y'all are happy :D

I saw another RUclipsr freak out when it was announced. Apparently he's been trying to make it happen for a long time since he has connections to Capcom but he lost hope. So happy for him and the fans!
@Mellana The first three Dragon Quest games were WAY shorter btw! DQ1 was about 10 hours, DQ2 was around 20 hours, and DQ3 was around 25-30 hours, so assuming there isn't a crazy amount of new content, these would be perfect games to start with, and since the games form a cohesive trilogy you wouldn't be missing anything if you ONLY play this trilogy. ;)

Marvel vs. Capcom Fighting Collection was the best reveal in the Direct since this is going to be the first time that Marvel vs. Capcom 1 & 2 releasing on a Nintendo platform.
I mean everyone has their opinions, for me my favorite reveal was probably Mario and Luigi Brothership since I've been waiting 9 years for it or the new Legend of zelda game but hey I'm happy for you!
Im only excited for Marvel vs Capcom on Switch because first Street Fighter, and now MvC finally happening on Switch and people who demand MvC2 to be freed also. Im a Marvel comics fan myself btw.

Marvel vs capcom(specifically 2) is a BIG BIG BIG deal to come to consoles. There's a LOT of things that not only made the games unavailable, but the last one to come out went more off of the marvel movies and in doing so limited the characters from like 50 to 15 or so.

The reason people want to play the old Marvel vs Capcom because:
1- Those games haven't been available to play in any legitimate means for years now.
2- The most recent entry, Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, sucked. Though people still play MvC3 especially with all the mods that are out there.
3- Lastly, these games just kick ass!

Hmm. The strategy RPG series, where they eventually went to a circular movement system, with a guy with lots of waifus? Sounds like the Sakura Taisen series by Red Company (published by SEGA).
Stella glow was the game I was thinking of 😂 not circular, but the style otherwise feels super similar

@@MellanaTV I thought you meant Lord of Magna: Maiden Heaven (also on 3DS and your movement is also limited by circles) and I was surprised to hear I wasn't the only one that played that game.
I encountered this video through RUclips's algorithms. Definitely excited for Mario and Luigi Brothership and The Legend of Zelda Echoes of Wisdom. I never finished Metroid Prime 3 Corruption and didn't play the first 2 of the Metroid Prime series. I will likely try to at least play Metroid Prime 4 Beyond in 2025 though. Hope my wallet can keep up!

I was a bit disappointed by the fact that there wasn’t any Splatoon though :(
I think Splatoon 4 is already in the making and will be announced in February along with the new system as a launch title.
I say this because, check the Splatoon Direct from 3 years ago, there's a DLC announcement (Side Order) and they already had the art and possibly the whole DLC made, they just showed Pearl and Marina in their Side Order clothes as silhouettes

29:51 The newest Marvel vs. Campcom is a terrible game. That's Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, which is the fourth installment, and most people were awfully disappointed by it. Most agree that Marvel vs. Capcom 2 is the best of the series, and fortunately, that made the Switch. No other console besides the Switch has the second game with online gameplay as of now. People like the third one as well, but not as much as the second one; unfortunately, the third one wasn't announced for the Switch.
