  • First roll of a Titanium Stove Pipe. This is a 9 foot stove pipe for the Winnerwell Titanium Fast Fold Tent Stove. First burn in to set the shape of the stove pipe. I use this stove with the Luxe Hiking Gear Hercules and the Luxe Twin Peak / Twin Shelter Tents. It would also work great in many other tents with a stove jack including tipis.

Nicely done on the initial pipe roll up. Many hands make light work..... Good job kids!! I just did mine alone and wished I had "many hands" too.

I first saw that stove after I bought mine. That design compared to other collapsible stoves is so cool. So easy and fast, great for cold hands.

Agree. It's super easy to set up and take down. I see so many other stoves that require gloves off and fidiling with small pieces of hardware. I'm sure many of them are great stoves as well; I just really like that there are very few loose parts to lose. The stove pipe rings are really the only items that are suseptible to losing. Currently set up in a Luxe Hiking Gear Twin Peak. Hope to share some video from that in the future.

I have completely wrecked my first chimney, and after seeing your helpful video have ordered another pipe, you’ve given me the confidence to sort my pipe out properly, can’t thank you enough 🙏👏😁

Thanks for the video, I just got one of these. How long do you do the first burn for, like what's the indication that you're done? Should it be blue everywhere? I've seen some conflicting info, like some say get the whole thing glowing cherry red, some say just go easy on first burn, etc.

I tried to do a slow burn at first but the stove and pipe heat up quickly. My initial burn was about 45-60 minutes (partly because I was taking video and pics). I actually took the pipe out about half way through the burn and flipped it (with gloves on). I would recommend letting the fire burn out and allowing the stove pipe to cool and then flip the stove pipe end to end and restart fire to ensure you get an even burn-in the entire length of the pipe. I wanted to see coloring the entire length of the pipe to show tempering/oxidation to know it was heat-set.

1 year later, how do you feel about the stove?
Would love to see a follow-up review video with some cooking action if possible.
    Cheers

I do have some material I need to edit and upload - just have not had the time to do the editing (cut out all the boring stuff) and definitely want to get some snow camping material uploaded for this winter. Thanks for the comment!

Thanks. The diameter is 3". If you want the thickness of the titanium stove pipe , that is .09mm - .10mm.

@@letthesmokerise3489 wont the pipe break after some times of using?

    • @letthesmokerise3489

@@msjay5085 So far no issues with the pipe. If there were continued stresses, such as folding it, I think it would break fairly quickly, but rolling it does not seem to stress the material much. I do plan to cut my stove pipe a little shorter. If its really windy it seems to put a little stress on the exposed pipe out of the tent and I don't want it to fold over. The main tent I'm using now, for a hot tent, is a bit shorter, so no need to have the pipe 9' tall. I can take a couple feet off and still have plenty of clearance. It seems to handle the heat just fine too. Thanks for the comment.
