The main issue is that our style of attacking play is effective against big teams that attack and leave space(Give the ball to Olmo and start attaching from the middle). However, against smaller team it is a different story since they defend with 11 in the back. Our attacking style is one dimensional(We need to crate various methods of scoring goals). Also, CB are more interested in offside traps than actual defending add on that the fact that Balde has - 10 awareness on his surrounding and you have a recipe for disaster. Flick will have to adapt and manage every game differently according to the style of play it should be played.
You don’t watch the games I see. We have the most big chances missed in La Liga at 44! Last game we had 25 shots and we didn’t score any of them. Tell me how that’s system problem! Only issue with Flicks approach is defensively.

Scoring that early gosl against deep lying opponents is so important, because it opens them up, as they can no longer sit back. We have seen many times Barca winning games, with a big margin, and most of these were enabled be an early goal. However, on the other hand, when we don't score that opening goal, against defensive teams, things start to pull in their favour. This is what we've seen a lot of lately. It's almost like, Barca can only win by huge margins, or they'll draw or lose the game. Either we lock them up, and thus opening the floodgates for further goals, or we stagnate and lose.

I agree about Pablo Torre, and I think I prefer him over Fermin Lopez. Fermin is not bad but he’s not a starter and shouldn’t be ahead of Pablo. In my opinion we have never had bigger expectations on the team. That messi era made fans confused about Barcelona. I think the problem is that Barca isn’t use to playing with high intensity for a full season. It’s been years since we have. These are growing pains. Bound to happen when you are trying to reset the standard.

I was watching videos of how they played earlier in the season vs currently and the only thing I can say is fatigue seems to be the main issue here we’re using Yamal in every match along with Cubarsi, Lewy, Raphinha, Pedri, Martinez, Kounde. These players are the most important but they play every game and sometimes in the span of 7 days they play 3 games at times

The problem we've is a good finisher... the team is creating so many chances but no good finisher. Lewandowski was missing so so many chances since he join Barcelona...if Lewandowski scored 10 goals he misses 15 and that hurts the team in some games that's why i always wanted Barcelona to go for a hungry deadly striker better than a finish Lewandowski 😢
We are struggling to break down teams. Majority of our goals are against the run of play / counter attacks. That works against big teams for obvious reasons by small teams who don’t leave much space at the back we have a really hard time. Couple that with the fact that Lewa’s legs are gone it’s actually worse.

The fact that we are so concerned about a 17 year old boy just shows our dependency syndrome: a syndrome that exposes Barca's real problem, i.e., lack of squad depth. Flick's rotation plans should be way better. Flick's high press system is great but sometimes you need to adapt, specially when we rotate players or play certain opponents. Flick needs to analyze and preview player fitness, rotation needs, games coming up and adapt to tactical needs. Against Leganes we should have rotated massively. They're bottom of the league and all the Barca players in any line up should simply be able to kick their ass with 5-1. So use a line up with Pablo Torre, Fermin Lopez and Pau Victor. Or play a 3-4-1-2. Three center backs, Kounde and Balde on the wings, two CM, one nr 10 and two upfront.
Our back up strikers get no game time because kinda like under Xavi, flick would rather give lewa plenty of game time to maintain good form/get back to good form, if we move lewa next year who knows who might step up next szn
During the game and a couple minutes after a game my mental health is affected but I learnt to let go of it easily. I've always supported RSC Anderlecht in Belgium who also have had some very very dark years and during that time I learnt that football is a big part of my life but at the end of the day, it's just the most important afterthought

I really love your channel and videos. Ive been watching since around the time of the collapse vs Roma and enjoy all your videos. I like the idea of these podcasts but I think you should upload all these podcasts to spotify or something like that as well as this so I can just listen in my ears because I have some ADHD and maybe other people are like me in this but I cant really sit still looking at the screen looking the same. It would be nice to just listen to your voice talk about the things while walking down the street and other things since there isn't any 'video'. Im still gonna watch the videos its just that I struggle to pay attention. The confusion comes from youth, its a young squad that will make mistakes. This is when you need an experienced bench to come in and steady the ship. If you look at the games we lost/drew we always went 2-0 or 2-1 up and then subs are made then soon after we lose or draw the game. Winning 4-0 5-0 every game was never sustainable. It is in times like these when the bench should step and turn a draw into a win or a loss into a draw but with our bench it has been the opposite and you cant look at flick for that you have to look at Laporta and Deco for barely strengthening the squad in the summer
As a Barca fan after the 8-2 I became numb so these days bad results doesn't effect me anymore because that's the Barca I have been used to the last few years expecting losses🤷

Football is more like chess in that if you have a particular move/style and use frequently, people figure it out and find a way around it. It's the same thing. Re watch the games we lost and you'll find a pattern which is runners from deep. That's how we're beaten. Plus luck sometimes plays a part.

The challenge we have in the team is have only Lamine Yamal as a creative player. In the right combining with kounde makes the right side string in attack, but on the left, we only have Balde making the runs attacking and defending.
I really do think that we are suffering because our front 3 are not as clinical as they once were at the beginning of the season. When we were scoring so many goals, our opponents wouldn’t really know how to react because we would hit them 2 or 3 goals before they could react and that would play a huge psychological effect. I have supported Barcelona since 2005 ( I was 10). I love the team with my heart so when they lose it affects me a lot. I remember the 2 classicos 2020 and 2021 played at the start of those respective seasons. The team lost and I was so annoyed that I went to bed without eating. The unfortunate part is I didn't plan to do that but when they lost I just slept and I was angry. I laughed 😂at myself for it but accepted how much I love my team. Yeah it's deeply rooted and affects every aspect of one's being.

I think the problem is that Barca isn’t use to playing with high intensity for a full season. It’s been years since we have. These are growing pains. Bound to happen when you are trying to reset the standard.

I was watching videos of how they played earlier in the season vs currently and the only thing I can say is fatigue seems to be the main issue here we’re using Yamal in every match along with Cubarsi, Lewy, Raphinha, Pedri, Martinez, Kounde. These players are the most important but they play every game and sometimes in the span of 7 days they play 3 games at times

The problem we've is a good finisher... the team is creating so many chances but no good finisher. Lewandowski was missing so so many chances since he join Barcelona...if Lewandowski scored 10 goals he misses 15 and that hurts the team in some games that's why i always wanted Barcelona to go for a hungry deadly striker better than a finish Lewandowski 😢

We are struggling to break down teams. Majority of our goals are against the run of play / counter attacks. That works against big teams for obvious reasons by small teams who don’t leave much space at the back we have a really hard time. Couple that with the fact that Lewa’s legs are gone it’s actually worse.

The fact that we are so concerned about a 17 year old boy just shows our dependency syndrome: a syndrome that exposes Barca's real problem, i.e., lack of squad depth. This is not a Flick's problem but a Laporta and Deco problem. No matter how good Flick may be, he can not solve this problem. Given the circumstances: the players aren't used to this system but they can play and they have shown us that; the system is too demanding; pressure from the Board upon Hansi to produce results; pressure from the fans; financial problems; lack of squad depth.
We need to compromise at some level. Allow Hansi to build a team with enough depth and where every player or important players can be replaced with confidence, so that the playing system isn't disrupted at any point during the season.
Because they way it stands now Hansi is using the ideal XI to push for the results, which in in-turn is forming into something unpleasant.

Flick's rotation plans should be way better.
Flick's high press system is great but sometimes you need to adapt, specially when we rotate players or play certain opponents.
Flick needs to analyze and preview player fitness, rotation needs, games coming up and adapt to tactical needs.
Against Leganes we should have rotated massively. They're bottom of the league and all the Barca players in any line up should simply be able to kick their ass with 5-1. So use a line up with Pablo Torre, Fermin Lopez and Pau Victor.
Or play a 3-4-1-2.
Three center backs, Kounde and Balde on the wings, two CM, one nr 10 and two upfront.
We always drop level when substituting as we have bad quality on the bench

During the game and a couple minutes after a game my mental health is affected but I learnt to let go of it easily. I've always supported RSC Anderlecht in Belgium who also have had some very very dark years and during that time I learnt that football is a big part of my life but at the end of the day, it's just the most important afterthought

The confusion comes from youth, its a young squad that will make mistakes. This is when you need an experienced bench to come in and steady the ship. If you look at the games we lost/drew we always went 2-0 or 2-1 up and then subs are made then soon after we lose or draw the game. Winning 4-0 5-0 every game was never sustainable. It is in times like these when the bench should step and turn a draw into a win or a loss into a draw but with our bench it has been the opposite and you cant look at flick for that you have to look at Laporta and Deco for barely strengthening the squad in the summer

Football is more like chess in that if you have a particular move/style and use frequently, people figure it out and find a way around it. It's the same thing. Re watch the games we lost and you'll find a pattern which is runners from deep. That's how we're beaten. Plus luck sometimes plays a part.
Aruajo should not play another match for barcelona if he decided not to renew, we should stop playing the guess game if he will or will not, the defence is sleeping at times and our attackers are missing easy chance, this has nothing to do with coaches but the players because we are getting the chances and wasting them, we have to be real we need a lot of wothwhile reinforcement the squad is thin.

The challenge we have in the team is have only Lamine Yamal as a creative player. In the right combining with kounde makes the right side string in attack, but on the left, we only have Balde making the runs attacking and defending.
I really do think that we are suffering because our front 3 are not as clinical as they once were at the beginning of the season. When we were scoring so many goals, our opponents wouldn’t really know how to react because we would hit them 2 or 3 goals before they could react and that would play a huge psychological effect. They would have the Fuck thought in their head and honestly once you get that feeling it’s hard to show the same hunger in every 50/50 ball or every when you’re recovering the ball. We just need Lewandoski to start putting the chances away

I have supported Barcelona since 2005 ( I was 10). I love the team with my heart so when they lose it affects me a lot. I remember the 2 classicos 2020 and 2021 played at the start of those respective seasons. The team lost and I was so annoyed that I went to bed without eating. The unfortunate part is I didn't plan to do that but when they lost I just slept and I was angry. I laughed 😂at myself for it but accepted how much I love my team. Yeah it's deeply rooted and affects every aspect of one's being.

I want to see wing defender like Walker who can cover up by speed, Barca needs defence.
