  • In this video, I look at the Enhanced Autopilot feature on the Tesla Model 3.
    I bought the feature for 48 hours to try it out, and I'm going to show you what it's like and share my thoughts on it in this video.
    Enhanced Autopilot includes several features, including:
    Lane Change Assist: This feature automatically changes lanes for you.
    Summon: This feature allows you to summon your car to you from a parking spot or other location.
    Navigate on Autopilot: This feature takes control of your car on highways, including changing lanes, navigating interchanges, and taking exits.
    Autopark: This feature automatically parks your car in parallel or perpendicular parking spots.
    I'll go over each of these features in more detail in the video and share my thoughts on how well they work. I'll also talk about whether or not I think Enhanced Autopilot is worth the money.

    You were standing in the way of the car so it turned to avoid you as soon as it could without hitting the side of the garage door! If you had been standing to the side of the driveway a reasonable distance down the driveway your sensational but non-threatening turn would not have occurred. Perhaps it was a setup?

    Smart Summon appears to work a lot better in Australia than it does in Germany where you have to be right next to the car at all times and then it will only drive 10m or so...
    And I agree in terms of Autoparking...my 2016 Skoda did better at that than the 2021 Model 3

    • @Lens_Addict
      @Lens_Addict  11 месяцев назад +1

      Summon could be illegal in your state. There was a case where a driver in Quebec had a malfunctioning summon command that caused an accident, and neither Tesla nor the insurance company would take responsibility for the damages. The car owner had to pay out of pocket to cover damages to the other car.

      @@Lens_Addict it started to turn and registered you wherent walking and still standing there. The auto summons function while you are in a position where it turns it is attempting to pull up to the side of you…my argument still stands and still is valid.

    • @Mc12Demonkiller
      @Mc12Demonkiller 11 месяцев назад

      @@Lens_Addict we are aiming for better then human behavior and it is a lot better then most human behaviors. I’m talking about 12:15 when you it was going and you tried speed walking in front of it. It registers faster then people but it still can only go so fast at the moment. It’s all about the codes it has to run. Currently it is faster then humans. At night time could affect it based of attire. What you should’ve done is the smart summons with a friend there to have it nav around them. With you it sees you as the end goal and will attempt to position its self next to you. It’s akin to holding to mikes next to each other and getting that loud feedback. It handled better then people would’ve but you have to understand when your the flag post. Most the video was good but that part should’ve had another person to test it.
