Was up there in July for the yearly inlaws visit and couldn't get the Phoenix out on the big water that week, wind just wouldn't settle down. That said, fishing the tributaries even in July turned out to be excellent. Even caught some quality largemouth that could have contributed to that bag you weighed in which may be a decent fall back if the main lake is ripping. Glad to - see the fishery in such good shape. Thanks for the breakdown video

I spent way too much time on that spot knowing what lived there. No doubt I could have pulled a limit if I left earlier in the day.

@@KRDFishing Been there several times too. My co-angler buddy's job was to tell me when to quit and move, otherwise I'd do the same thing. Funny how stubborn we get on the water even when we know better. Really appreciate your videos, if you ever see a Scarlett and Gray Phoenix Bass Boat lurking around the Davis Bessie reef complex or in the Portage River, stop and say Hi. My goal this coming summer is to learn Live Scope and try to find some perch to fish fry for the wife's family. Have a one week window to do it, hoping for the best.

@ I was very stubborn in that tournament. I don't mean it, but can't help it, lol. I will say Hi if I see you out there.

I had a decent tournament. Ended up 10th. Still had a 2lb and a 3lb fish that needed to go.

@TomHubba I think during the pandemic, it was closed. The rules last year said canada was open.
