- Ive known about @WarmAudioOfficial for a long time through Dave. He was a big fan of their 1176 compressor clones, mainly because with Warm Audio, the money you spend goes on a key component that makes a lot of difference. For example the 1176 Clones use Cinemag Transformers which were used in the originals.
With the Jet Phaser, they have recreated a famous Roland AP-7Jet Phaser, but for a fraction of the price!

Jet 3 and 4 with that Strat are some of the best tones I've heard in a bloody age. 😳❤️
Good god I can't get over the look and sound of that strat
He has a video series where he puts a new scratchplate on it and tests out pickups for it. I think he uses 11s and tunes down?
I remember seeing it for the first time and thinking dam, sunburst looks sweet with a relic gold pickguard. I dunno why I just never came across that combination nor thought that it would be so lust like.
As for the tone bea gets with a strat , I’m clearly not jealous , I’m really not ….
…
Who am I kidding lol , it’s so sick , I really am jealous . Back to practicing for me I think lol.
Time to get a strat he said? Huh. Lol
I use to play "metal" on Jackson's and other "metal" guitars... one day picked up my mothers fender strat and played my normal warm up routine and then laughed as i sold my Jackson GUITAR(S) NEVER looking back until right now. Good riddance.
Greetings from an old guy in Idaho USA....bumped into your videos from that Pedal Show and really enjoy your talent and class. Wishing you continued success and to all of the UK....
Great to see some Warm Audio on the channel! Their stuff is always quality!
love that sound soooo much imma start saving. Thanks bro.
Great vid. Great effect. Great editor.
Jet Phaser, ooooo oooo! BTW, I love the layout of your room
I've been using Warm Audio mic pres for a few years with great results, glad to see them moving into Guitar gear territory!
sounds so good
Grabbed one $99 new on a sweetwater sale. It is great. I use a lot of fuzz pedals, like a lot aside from getting delay or phaser I love vintage to crazy grindy fuzz. My main fuzz right now switches from swollen pickle mkiii, behringer sf300 (I know but dude it's the same boss pedal) and the jet phaser. Jet4 low resonance high gain is crushing sound.
Been around long enough to have used the original Roland Jet Phase that this pedal is based off of. My band covers the Isley Brothers "Whose That Lady". I'm pleased that Warm Audio has released a good version of it. Will have to check it out. Thanks Rebea.
Instant HAWKWIND vibes in mode 4.
I love it!!!
Silver Machine?
@@howardmaryon ; Indeed. 😎
Seen Hawkwind in the 90s as own a Jet Phaser 🥸
Owned 2 of the Rolands AP7s in the 70's and 80's and the Warm Audio version sounds like I remember them. Also Larry Graham used one on bass so not just for the shredders.
Amazing tan!
Learned about the original unit after checking out some Eddie Hazel (homework, dirtbags!) which led me to Warm Audio and this video: sold, MF!! Came in the mail yesterday, it’s a fucking MONSTER. Has the hugest sound ever, it’s the sound I have loved since I was a kid in the 70’s and sought after since picking up the guitar. Thanks for posting this vid!
WARM AUDIO: this pedal is a winner!
i just grabbed this pedal for $99 new and it is fantastic.
That is a bargain,enjoy!
Wow!
I have a Warm Audio Foxey Tone Box. That this is legit. Hands down my favorite fuzz.
First of all dude, I know it has probably been hard but congrats on the lossing weight thing. Must have been so hard (I only have 7 kilos to loose and I feel like it's the hardest thing I've ever done)
Secondly : man, AWESOME strat tones ! (and awesome looking strat too) \m/
jet 2 and 4 are fantastic on lead tone
One of the best examples of old school phase sound is a song by Thin Lizzy, Emerald from Jailbreak LP. Put on some closed back headphones and get lost in hard rock heaven! That may be the original Jet Phaser. They were using Les Pauls into Marshall Plexi's. Personally I like humbuckers with phase.
Phasing is a bit of a rabbit's warren around here, it just seems like I need one of these to try as well. C'est la vie. 🤘
Love ya rabea when you dont shred.
This is strange, I've been talking up the WA Jet Phaser for a few weeks and now I see it here.
Oooo a phase and a fuzz
Jet 2 cheers
Hi. can be the Jet used alone or its always on with the Phaser ? Thanks.
Think of the lead tone ( strat ) on “Summer Breeze” by the Isley Brothers, this pedal really gets close ( nails it )
I swear you could make a miku/noise gate pedal ran through a frontman 15 sound heavy
My friend you took the words right out of my mouth. Bea is the champion of thick heavy riffage.🔥
In other words almost identical to the Boss AP7 jet phase. 2 phase settings were for bass guitar from memory. Not sure why the rebuild? I sold mine due to the effecs being either non existent or really thin. It needed a pre-amp like the DM1 or the CE1.
Wouldn't be a bad investment if you had more control over the sweep, depth & speed of the phase.
Someone else makes that one.
Just picked one up off Reverb.
imagine if you could run video signals through audio effects...
What happened to the Cove Bea? Was a cool little studio!!
he said it was in the garden of "a house they were renting at the time", so presumably Dave has since moved house.
DAVE
That you Dave?

China did it again! Great pedal!
Dave
Jet 2 almost sounds like Frampton's Talk Box.
Doesn't sound bad, but that thing sure does take up a lot of real estate for what it does. I would of thought having two switches they would've made one a fuzz switch and the other for the phaser, making it 2 pedals in one. Would've been slightly easier to justify the space it takes up on a board.
There are so many better phasers, that do far more fir this price or less.
@@CorbCorbin I agree. Coping vintage pedals exactly how they where just doesn't do it for me even if the quality is top notch. Things have evolved for a reason. Modern pedals give users so much more possibilities than this does.
I upvoted to 69.
nice
The gears were grinding...
The look is a Roland knock off, price is reasonable wow
That is one mediocre sounding phaser. Thanks for posting.
Jalous?
@@michelvondenhoff9673 Good one, genius.
