A very clever approach! Nice!
If you break the plastic part of the damaged LED with some nozzle pliers, the metal part is exposed, then just warm up with the soldering iron that it leaves. And to put a new one or remove a good one from a plate just shave the tracks close to the led and tinting well. In the case of removing the good led, with 2 soldering iron comes out easy, and to reset the track, simply tin the track with it positioned. I always do this, much easier and safer than heating everything.

nice method, another one is to use a candle.... i;m not too sure i'd want to use a new shiny iron to do this, maybe a older 2nd iron .

what temperature of the iron setting?
That electrolytic capacitor is bad. It needs to be replaced. It is bulged and burst so it will dry out soon. I am surprised the light even worked at all with it. Good idea with the iron for reflowing the solder.
Great but would a soldering iron not be less stressful for the pc board?

Where did you know which LED is faulty? How did you figure it out ?
look at the SMD LED light centre place, any small hairline crack and colour change
@@powergen522 I asked because I have 2 LED bulbs. No one shines (does not give light).
I suspect the LEDs are connected in series and if one of the LED chains is faulty/off, none of the other lights flash.
If it were connected in parallel, 9 it would light up and 1 would be off. But all are extinguished.
I admit, I didn't look at them very carefully.
That's why I wonder, how can I guess which LED is faulty/broken?
what if if the iron had (min ="o", middle"oo", max="ooo"),what i will choose from three?

Idea good. But much heat wasted. Think about using a small piece of heating coil with low voltage and currents.

why did you remove the two capacitors then put them back in. I did not understand

unique but not good idea as this will damage All the smd components due to over heating
This method is not worked properly. I have use this. The iron can't achive the proper temperacher that melt the solder due to tharmostate of the iron. To implement this process u have to remove tharmostate from your iron.
also replace the electrolytic capacitor: it'a about to explode! (it's fat)
