What bullet train did you take to Otsuki? Is it Fuji Excursion? I plan on watching weather forecast and buying commute tickets on the day of so I am worried about sold out bus, train tickets, etc.
I took the Azusa 1Limited ExpressMatsumoto JR Route from Shinjuku Station to Ōtsuki Station and then from Ōtsuki Station we subwayed the rest of the way to Kawaguchiko Station. Hope this helps!
