Okay so one thing I gotta say Field upgrades are definietly NOT returning. Stock option replaces ring of fire effect In plain sight replaces aether shroud Phoenix up replaces Healing aura There would be too many gobblegums overriding field upgrades So either gobblegums are replacing that slot OR we are getting a specialist slot back

My speculation for the documents is related to the Freedom of Information act. This allows any citizen in the US to request any document from any federal building. This was enacted in 1966, however was ammended several times over the years including in 1996 which made it more broad to include and federal agency (like the CIA and FBI), and to include digital documents. What I think is that its giving backstory on how Duffer serves as a black ops interrogator in Germany where the paper-trail was later destroyed, and then was transferred to terminus (he could have ties to someone involved in Janus). These files were likely stored on a computer and after the FOIA ammendments came into effect the parts of the documentation that were not redacted got shared to the public leading to the rioting seen.
Just a fun fact where Peck points on the map is just barely southwest of where the dead apothican is in the Original Call of Duty Blackops Zombies timeline, so the island does have some significance back in the other games, I just didn't realize it till I checked the coordinates we are given in Black ops zombies and compared them to the map.

Im doubtful that the perk bottles are returning and i don't think that gobblegums are evidence of that, considering there are guns on gobblegums that weren't obtainable in bo3 and bo4.
Random thought: what if Mr. Peeks just kind of leaves you for a round so you can't buy the box or gobblebums and whatever else we need from him because he's "in" the opposite map for the round. I'd hate that and it's highly doubtful bit could you imagine how annoying that'd be.
Tbh, I think they just kept the perka symbol the same because it’s recognisable and they probably didn’t see a need to change it. I don’t see them making it bottles again because then they’d have to tweak the design of the machines.

To be fair assuming all 9 from cold war + any new additional perks van cost upwards of 75k points so having a way to subvert that especially early game is still very vary op

With Cold War, I made a habit of intentionally starting the maps with just the pistol (at least for my first few runs), I think that's a fine compromise - it gives people choices.
I really didn't think perkaholic was that bad, it was strong but I never really felt the need to run it. It saved time for me but it never really made the game easier per say. The only ones I really used a lot were alchemical and phoenix up

This is the closes to acknowledging him Treyarch have come since AO in Bo4. My biggest problem with the story since bo4 is they just dropped that story and the literal gods from the old universe. They mean nothing now, and that sucks. If Mr. Peeks isn't Dr. Monty, I'm going to be genuinely upset. It would honestly make a really interesting plot point, when everything got pulled into the dark Aether Monty and Samantha's Teddy merged into Mr. Peeks. The zombies story has been more far fetched.

in Cold War it's just a stand-in for the teddy bear from the previous games, that was it. He wasn't treated as a "character" like this game seems to be doing, so you're not missing anything.
honestly my only problem with this game so far is that we know what happens to all these characters (they die) and that makes it hard for me to care about them. also does this mean that in bo7 or any future zombies game they have to introduce a new crew. i personally think they should find a way to revive Gray, Carver, and Weaver so they can team back up with Ravenov (unless he dies in the end of mw3 zombies)

I hope. Never played the Newer cod zombies much but the amount I played I really don't like it. All I want is a simple amount of perks, starting pistol and simple pack a punch. And easter eggs don't TELL YOU WHAT TO DO.
Horrible take. It’s way more for to be able to save up for the higher tiers and make the weapon even more powerful. One and done pack a punch just decreases things you can do in the game.

I’m not a new zombie fan I’ve been fan since bo1 but I skipped boc so I was wondering who is Mr peaks
in Cold War it's just a stand-in for the teddy bear from the previous games, that was it. He wasn't treated as a "character" like this game seems to be doing, so you're not missing anything.

honestly my only problem with this game so far is that we know what happens to all these characters (they die) and that makes it hard for me to care about them. also does this mean that in bo7 or any future zombies game they have to introduce a new crew. i personally think they should find a way to revive Gray, Carver, and Weaver so they can team back up with Ravenov (unless he dies in the end of mw3 zombies)

I like a lot of this news. Which has me concerned, if they're going to such great lengths to lean into nostalgia... I don't think it's a particularly great sign for how good the mode itself actually is.

Youre joking right? For one lootboxes in video games are illegal now. 2nd It literallt would costs HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS to get most of the dlc guns in the game. Bundles are much much better because youre guaranteed getting what youre buying
@Zeniyibaby at least it was POSSIBLE to earn everything for free by just playing the game. Now it's like if you want a stupid weapon and operator skin "that'll be a THIRD of the price of the entire game pls and thank you!" Bundles are indeed better if you just don't care about getting the stuff in them.

@@xN1X0Nx You can still earn tons of stuff on the game for free tho? Literally new camos practically every week. You can really cool nuke operator skins. And bundles can be as cheap as $5. Its only they really cool looking bundles that are $20. Besides that its just cosmetics who cares? its way better than the gambling system we use to have that also LOCKED weapons behind them. I didnt even get half the dlc weapons in B03 because of that

I hope. Never played the Newer cod zombies much but the amount I played I really don't like it. All I want is a simple amount of perks, starting pistol and simple pack a punch. And easter eggs don't TELL YOU WHAT TO DO.
Horrible take. It’s way more for to be able to save up for the higher tiers and make the weapon even more powerful. One and done pack a punch just decreases things you can do in the game.
@wiisportsgod8266 well my main issue is the fact theres a screen imprompt that pops up, which makes you vulnerable, they shouls remove it and make it so it just does the level up 3 times without the screen
