Any metal reusable instrument should be autoclaved period !!! Even though you use membrane cross contamination still can get up inside of grip just by handling and switching them out during the tattoo process with contaminated gloves on and laid on contaminated surfaces.
What about needles?even though they "sterilized" I don't trust them so how to make sure needles out of the box are ok ? soak them in 70% alcohol?
How do I handle high risk objects in comparison to low risk? How is the procedure for each?

This guy does not have a clue according to CDC all metal reusable grips must be autoclaved period. Membranes are useless when you are handling with contaminated gloves on during the tattoo process getting on back side of cartridge putting cross contamination right up inside of grip. And cartridges laid on contaminated work area.
can you recommend any chemical disinfectant
we use Madi-cide or Opti-cide, in liquid form, applied to paper towels.
Can someone reccoment any chemicals that doesnt break the machine? I use aitenitas and cheyenne..
No mention about all the ink that goes inside the grip...
If using cartridges with membrane there will get no ink inside the grip. Besides the grips are all autoclavable.
@@CheyenneTattooEquipment should grip be autoclaved or is it artists choice end of day? I've seen some wipe down grip some autoclave.
@@hifi8844 grips can either be autoclaved or put in an ultrasonic bath. According to EN 17169 (Tattooing - safe and hygienic practice), grips do not even have to be sterilized, but only disinfected, AS LONG AS cartridges with a tight safety membrane are used. Our cartridges meet these requirements.
Toss that off?? I thought this was serious business... neeext
