Top AMHR limit is 38". The new thing is what they call Miniature Blends,where they breed small Miniature with small Shetlands that are double registered Mini and Shetland. When these fials grow up they will be over Mini height, but can be registered small Shetland. I HATE THE MIXING OF THEM, a true Mini is 34" and UNDER.
@@tinahall3845 after watching this, I hate how they make them look unrealistic. Like, just let them chill. I hope one day these contests just go off of the horses natural look instead of them shaving them and have them look up and make make them look in a weird position
Glad my mini is on a weight loss to a healthy weight. This just looks unnatural to me and it reminds me of darf miniatures and that just makes me sad :/
most minis are actually overweight as well as usually have fluffy coats. this is what an in-shape clipped mini looks like used to think this too until I clipped mine
The handler is trying to show his horse to its best attributes. They want them to stretch their necks to show the length and shape. They want them to look bright and alert with some sense of energy, not to stand with their head hanging down and looking half asleep. The handlers may want them to stretch to show his top line better. It's not a quarter horse show. (I'm not knocking quarter horses, they just show their halter horses differently. )
Stupid guy is jerking the hell out of that chain. Beautiful mini. But damn that chain hurts. All about a ribbon and poor little chin getting jerked all to hell.

Some of those miniatures look like foals cause they are so skinny with long legs. Ive never seen a miniature horse with a skinny body and long legs.
And some of them look so tall! What is the top allowed height for minis?

These "Minis" don't look like any minis I know. They're way too delicate and they're too tall.
