Im going to build something similar. That screen is a good idea. I think you also have to isolate the beerline against condensation. You dont want mold in the wall.
9:11.....ok man...that damn tablet is INSPIRED...makes me feel like a caveman with my chalk board paint.......and i have an outdated Ipad just waiting to be put to use...thanks man....
Great video! When you note that you aren't going to use glycol or a fan for your lines because they are less than 6 feet, are you referring to the length of the lines outside of the keezer? Or the total length of the lines? I'm looking to move my beer taps to the top of my bar and I am going to need to run my lines outside of my kegerator. The length from kegerator to tower is probably about 3 feet and the last thing I want is foamy beer! Thanks!
There is probably about 3 feet of line outside my keezer. Regarding the foam, the first pour every day is a bit foamy but after that it pours just like normal for the day. That first pour gets the line cold enough where it is not a problem. Up to you though!
@@TroubleBrewing Thanks for the reply! I'll give it a shot. Guess I can always find some way to cool it later if the beer is a bit foamy. Again great video and thanks for answering my question. Cheers!
Matt, really well done video and I’m about to embark on the same journey of three taps through the wall. A year later, do you have anything you wish you would have done differently or is the system doing well?
Thanks for checking out the video! Overall I wouldn't change a thing. I do find that the first pour pours more foam then subsequent ones (im assuming this is because the lines above the freezer are room temperature?) So maybe implement some system to keep the lines cold above the freezer. But this really is not a big deal and I only would consider this if I'm really bored one day... The only other thing I can think of is I find that you really need to torque down on the handles so they don't move around on ya and you may need 2 people to tighten those down. Cheers!
Great build! I had a neighbor that did something similar and he had foaming issues with the first pour, have you had any? And I’m totally looking forward to the tablet video!!
For cleaning I use PBW/Starsan between batches. If your using the beer line cleaner with the pump I dont imagine it would be any more difficult since you can just leave a tap open with a bucket and just push the cleaner through the line as you normally would.
Hey Matt, I have a very similar setup but I’m looking to only run 1 line. My thought was to buy a kegerator and then a conversation kit to run through the wall. Do you have a link or suggestions on the supplies I would need. Or a list of exactly what I need to buy to make it work. Not the handiest so I’m looking for someone just to tell me what to buy and hopefully it’s easy to install. Thanks!
Hello, unless its a cheep/used kegerator your almost always better just buying a freezer with an inkbird since they are alot cheaper. I have a Keezer build video on my channel if your interested. Once you setup the collar your going to pretty much just do what I did in this video.
Everyone should really understand the Beer coming from the Keg to the Taps MUST be relatively COLD and it's a shame, but I would have liked to see him pour beer. Because it would be a ton of foam beer. He doesn't have a true method or proper insulation to keep the Beer at a cold temp to avoid foaming. Let me know if anyone has built something like he has shown and it worked. I'd be VERY surprised to see no foam. Especially if the beer sits in the line for more than 10 minutes then pour from the Tap. ANYONE'S Thoughts???
Hello! The first pour of the day I would say the glass is half foam and if you let it settle for about 5 minutes you just top it back off. You mention that it would take 10 minutes for you to have another foam issue, this is just not the case unless you have a very warm place were the lines would be. After the first pour there are no issues for the day. You can go through the trouble of keeping the lines cold; which I do link to a resource on how to do that, but I find that just waiting 5 minutes after the first pour of the day is not significant enough of an issue to set this up. Up to you though! Let me know if you have questions.
We are opening a wellness center with Kombucha taps through the wall so this was exactly what I needed!
It came out great Matt! Thanks for showing us. This vid will probable inspire a lot of homebrewers to do something similar. Cheers!
Digging the tablet integration!!! Super nice touch!
Im going to build something similar. That screen is a good idea.

Have fun! I really enjoy it. Regarding the mold - I have not seen anything of concern yet.
Dude this looks amazing!!
Man this is awesome!!!! Absolutely love it! Thanks for making a video. Great detailed explanation!
Awesome been thinking of doing the from downstairs to my garage basically just straight up. But was wondering about condensation as well.
That is really slick looking Matt! Great space saver in your brewery too. Some day i'll get on your level!
Thanks for this. Its so helpful as I'm about to do exactly the same in my basement and there were no other videos to help me.
Awesome to hear! Thanks for watching.
Dude this is sick I could already imagine waking up and rolling over to my wall by my bed for a breakfast beer haha
Thanks Matt!! Great work!!
Very nice build Matt! I really dig the tablet setup 🍻🍻
Dude this is a great video. I was just thinking about this after leaving clawhammer
They have a really great set, thanks for watching!
Excellent build dude, nice job. I love the idea of the touch screen. You might consider magnetic coasters on the bottom of the glasses. 👍👍💚🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

Yea its super easy, Monday im putting out a video on how to set up a taplist.io account on a tablet/tv.
Great info! Thank you!🍺

This could really slow you down on your table tennis training! Looks like an awesome setup and great instructions. Cheers!
We actually just folded up the table tennis... But we also got a pool table! Im also bad at that. Ill just stick to drinking..
Great build! I had a neighbor that did something similar and he had foaming issues with the first pour, have you had any? And I’m totally looking forward to the tablet video!!
Nope no issues with foaming or anything. Ill post in the description if I notice anything since I put it into place but so far... been working GREAT!
Looks great! Thanks for the helpful video. How far apart on center did you do your faucets?
About 4 inches, but definitely take into consideration your drip tray.
Isn't taping the beer lines in the HVAC tape going to make it very difficult to clean out your lines?
