Thank you for sharing your progress. Growing up in Southeast Asia I have never ever seen a pandan seed before. We just happened to have a huge bush of Pandan in the garden at home and just cut off the leaves as needed LOL. Now moving to Europe, these leaves cost super expensive here! I have to laugh at myself that now I have to order Pandan seeds from Amazon and plant them from seeds. Your video is really encouraging! Thank you!

the pandan that we use for culinary purposes in South East Asia is the Pandanus Amaryllifolius(fragrant pandan) and usually propagated from root division never from seeds. The one you may have purchased with seeds could be the Pandanus utilis which may look similar since it's from the same pandanus family, but not for culinary use.

OMG Luke! Hahaha What a pleasant surprise to find you here! I am OBSESSED with Pandan! I have one there I placed in morning sun only because sun is really intense in So Cal. It's hot and dry, which causes the leaves to burn if they get afternoon sun in the summer. These grow as understory in the rain forest. I do need to spend up it's growth so I can start harvesting it.
