Definitely Samsung's best smartwatch to date. The interface looks intuitive and easy to use too. I prefer the font and watch faces used on the Classic to those of the spacey looking one...still the Apple Watch seems to be more of a sophisticate.

Is there a setting to have the display stay on,I know this eats battery but on my gear s I wanted to have it resemble more of a watch then just showing the display when I brought my arm up to check the time. So I'd really like to know or if someone knows if I've missed a setting on my current one haha

I got the gear S2 1 month ago and now I got both straps torn and one of them while taking of my watch, I just can't understand how stupid can Samsung be to make the connection between the robber and metal lock with GLUE, this is a manufacturing and design flow, just imagine Apple doing that it will ruin their image, I think Samsung know they did wrong with this as they still didn't officially release it in some regions, I wonder why I can't find people complaining about this till now, but I give it a month and there will be outrage because they really f*** up. well I emailed Samsung a complain with picture of the torn bands and look what they answered " After reviewing your e-mail, we understand that the contact between the rubber strap and the metal piece is very weak and can be easily broken, it is totally understandable how inconvenient it could be, however as of now we haven’t received any reported issue regarding it in our database. We appreciate hearing from our customers, as your comments are vital for us to continue improving our products, as well as our business. We strive for the best in customer satisfaction "

Ability to make and take calls on the watch itself was the only thing that set Tizen apart from Android Wear. Now Samsung has removed that feature. I used this feature all the time on my Gear 2 Neo, probably my second most used feature. Why go backwards? +LarsJ1977 I doubt it will be accurate. The heart rate monitor sensor is super small (like on other smart watches) and they are all not very accurate. The most accurate on is on the apple watch and it have a large 4 sensors technologie.
Why does Samsung keep setting themselves up for failure with these watches? The gear watch with the curved display would have been the must have watch, had the OS been usable. Get rid of Tizen! For hardware to sell, it needs software, needs applications. If developers are not creating things for Tizen because its not popular enough to waste time creating for, what do you think this new watch is destine to be? Yes, the watch looks great physically, but so has every other watch they have come out with. I owned two of them, but the 3rd party apps were lacking. There's nothing that they wouldn't be able to do with it, within reason. The rotating bezel to control, can you tell me another smart watch that has done the same? It's been remarked very well. Given the popularity of this watch so far, people will start developing for it, but it's early days, so don't expect tons right away. All in all. This flat out doesn't sound like the watch for you. Just because it doesn't do that doesn't mean it's a failure. I've seen very very little negativity around this watch, even on AndroidCentral. Also, battery life. Name an AW watch that gets 2-3 days. Or any other smart watch that isn't a Pebble variant.

I've never had battery issue with any watch yet. That might be for the lack of functions, where I was often referred to look at my watch for the info, instead of using the watch. It's no wonder the battery lasted so long. Until Samsung stops trying to separate itself from a platform it's phones thrive on, they will continue to fail on the watch front. The premier OS for watches are Google, and Ios9 not one, not even an honorable mention was given to tizen. No one will code for that OS, this will be a watch with a cool bezel that died because the software didn't allow functionality.

The only difference from the last version. The S Gear is you can now scroll by moving the sides of the bezel.
