Anyway to then copy this formula down so that it references the next value down in a lookup table? E.g. do the shift+ctrl+enter deal and in one row which looks up value A2, then copy it down so it looks up value A3?
Hello Excel Wizard! This video was amazing. Thank You so mutch! Question : Can I return data from another workbook if I use array formula? Question is tricky because Array INDEX MATCH give me ERRORS. If there is some trick please explain, I read around in web and could not find solution. Thanks one more time for this great video.
I had a problem with the formule. If I had the decimal separator in "," the formule didn't work. Do you know a solution for this problem? The problem seem to be in the array definition (the part inside {2,3,4,5,6,7,8}. I already tried ";" or "." but the result doesn't apear).
Do you know something about this kind of matricial formula, doesn't work in Portuguese Excel Language? Cus i'm quite sure that i did it correctly, but it isn't working... We use semicolon, instead just comma to go through the formulas steps. I'm used to use the match formula for solve this kind of problem, but I really want to finish this Array way...
{=VLOOKUP(B2,Students!$A$483:$L$501,{4,5},0)} i pressed control shift enter and ive highlighted two cells, i still get #N/A .......what seems to be the problem

Is there a shortcut to entering the column indexes? I'm working with a data set with 35+ columns. Do I need to enter every single 1,2,3,etc?

Just use {2\3\4\5\6\7\8} instead
