Yes she does use pre recorded vocals... Sometimes... Every artist will use vocal tracks either for a hard note or for dance move etc. She can actually still sing like the sang the prayer with in NYC with Andrea. Some songs she does 100 % live some 80% some she does lip totally. I have not got a problem with that
I definatly know the song has some playback in it, but it also sounds like there was a problem with the microphone also.She has sung it live before on Oprah and the Today show and it's a little ruff. But guys come on, she lips no more than five songs a concert and half have partial vocals. I think it's fine look at Cher, "Believe" is lipped except the chorus and Tina Turner's "When The Heartache is Over," has parts lipped. Celine also sings along with the backtrack so it's 50-50 live.

She's been miming this song since 2003: she mimed it during the entire run of AND... in Vegas and mimed it during the entire TC World Tour. She's got an amazing sound guy. You can even sync this up with other IDAN from the TC tour, and once the track kicks in, it's identical to other vids out there.
Im not gonna say she never lip synchs. Ive followed her her entire US career from the first record (Unison) and i know that she does more often than i wish she did but there is something wrong with a person when they devote so much energy and time to just making someone look bad. I feel sorry for you.

This is not a lip-synch backing track catastrophe. This is evidence to prove that she does what she HAS ADMITTED to doing, using "vocal samples" to enhance it. When she goes to say "inSIIIIIIIIIIIIIDE" the vocal sample does not play. You can hear her lead into that, singing live. It is not a total lip synch, rather a form of vocal preservation.
I really think that Celine does lyp synch. I have been to 3 of her shows and no have to tell me or show me nothing. You just need to learn that their are times that vocalists have microphone issues. Vocalists are trained by their show managers to keep singing, and most vocalists have back-ups that are notified to sing when their is a problem. That's why the notes at the beginning are lower than Celine's voice. Also, for your comment at the start, she doesn't have to do that note all the time.

I'm very disappointed, but I can't honestly say I blame her. She has put her voice through more in the last 20 years than most people do in a lifetime. She's flesh and blood and body parts wear out over time, especially ones that have so much demanded of them. But the fans still expect CELINE, so she gives them what they want the only way she can.
I don't think we need to jump down her throat on this one, it's called BACK tracking meaning it backing vocals to her voice. Tina Turner and Cher both have used them before in tours and hell Cher has to use it during "Believe,". Secondly it's a dance track she can't keep her vocals up to the tempo because she doesn't have time to breath. And even if she did the song live the whole way through it would have to be different. Saw taking chances, she lip synced 80% of the show and two times her backtrack failed her and all that we heard was her tired cracking voice that rightfully can no longer handle her older songs. I don't think she's hit an F5 for the past 10 years. She has prerecorded "live" versions of her songs so they don't sound like the album but if you watch all her Power of Love's from the tour, they are a copy paste.

Whoa, that is embarrassing! You can hear what she actually sounds like when the back-tracking is off -- and it's pretty bad. Man, I wonder just how much of these concerts she ACTUALLY sings live. I'm guessing not a lot. It's too grueling for the voice.
