I hear ya on the forum i miss them and hate the whole facebook group crap. Sweet ride I am thinking about starting a you tube as well to document my 61 f100 unibody coyote build. I am gathering parts to build a custom chassis.
Fantastic project! I'm glad you posted this to youtube, I'm sure you'll pick up a few new followers. I see many parallels to my own build with similar purpose in mind, I've been calling the genre a "race-rod" and have been at it for 5 yrs now. It's at about the same stage as your truck is, people underestimate how much cost and effort goes into these sort of builds (... I know I certainly did - thought I'd be done by now!!) - it's a real commitment to see it through. Hoping you post more videos to youtube as the truck progresses, I'm really looking forward to seeing it come together.
Excellent points and you're spot on. These things are just a puzzle in so many ways unless you're some big shop building crazy things like this. I'm definitely going to check out your build! To your point, lots of parallels from just glancing at it.
@@jimmydanc I thought about it many times but I watch all the RUclipsrs and many other builders and just don't have the energy to keep at it and edit videos. Even this one I had to splice and edit quite a bit and it was ridiculously basic lol. I do plan on going back into some stuff and covering a lot more. There's still a lot to go.
@@jimmydanc What I was mainly referring to were both big channels like Rob Dahm and other guys doing these things that generally still (or did) a lot of their own filming and editing. The level of expectation is high in general, but the more you want to show, the more effort it takes to edit and condense. I'm about to work on my front splitter today and would love to document it, but I'm not sure I want the distraction of filming while figuring it all out. Maybe I just need to give it a go, but seems like a lot. I'll probably film a bit of it and see what I can compile.
wow nice build i want something like this on my 84 c10 wheel flares what is the name of the company it will save me a lot of time if i can get this already made i cant really hear the name
Love the fender flares
Love the truck, been fallowing on Instagram the build, so happy you did a full video
Thanks, man. Not quite sure what I'm doing here, but sometimes it's nice to talk through all the random stuff I spend a huge chunk of time on!
