It's not about the weight, it's about the way he's losing it. If he's eating salads only, and gyming every day, then that's fantastic, I'm happy for him and he can lose more weight if he wants, no problem to me, no one is going to stop him. But if it's a disorder, then that's a different matter. Coming from someone who lost her best friend to bulimia 2 years ago (yes you can die from it, which surprises a lot of people), I'm allowrd to be a little worried about him, and make sure he's being safe. I don't think I'd survive seeing two people I love, go from such a horrible disorder.
