@@sammeyer4792 Yo, wait until episode 58, it's the first serious arc, also, comedy will get a LOT better and serious arcs will become brilliant later on, so you got this man, keep it up, if you don't like Benizakura (ep 58-61) you can consider quitting, though I think you should still give it more chances since I dropped it like 3 times before it became my indisputed top 1 anime. I can promise you that 90% of the times you'll end up loving it, Gintama is just like that, even if it takes long, it traps you somewhere in the way and you can't let go.

@@sammeyer4792 Piece of advice, don't try to bingewatch Gintama, rather watch it 2 episodes per day. Non-plot driven anime tends to be "boring" if you binge watch it.

I will never get that experience again.

Deathnote goes downhill after L's arc. AoT goes downhill after s03 part 2 or chapter 119. FMAB is the only thing close to masterpiece.

@@justsomeguyontheinternet.4398 it has 64 episodes ofcourse it can't be great always but in case of Deathnote and AoT the quality drops severely and damages the story. FMAB is probably the most consistent anime. However in case of AoT the 1st 3 seasons are truly something. Better than FMAB imo. Not a single boring episode. Quite a feat.

i wouldn't be 100% sure. people say the ending is weak, so if chainsaw man, vinland saga, link click or made in abyss start at winter, there is a really high chance that aot fails to come on top. there is also a chance of a top 10 worthy new anime coming out. its mot likely, but it can happen.
thing is, aot already has a huge fanbase and community which is bigger than the other upcoming anime so thats why

2019 was stacked, wish we could have one similar year again
This year was pretty stacked imo. AOT, Fruits Basket, OddTaxi, Vivy, Megalo Box, To your Eternity, Link Click if you count that as a anime and some others but I didn't enjoy them as much
I think 2022 has potential.And I really liked 2021,by the way.It had some really good animes.
In terms of number of 8+ rated anime released, 2019 is the 2nd highest year with 21 (though a lot of years have 19). 2021 crushed that with 33, with the first half of the year alone passing all of 2019 and the second half being average. 2022 already has 15 and looks set to pass 2019.

Apart from the shonen anime mentioned here, I'm so glad that slice-of-life/josei anime are getting recognition. Mushishi, The Tatami Galaxy and Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju are arguably some of the greatest anime of all time.

Aot s4 p2 has been getting worked on since October so hopefully it will be jjk high level of animation and that’s probably why aot s4 p1 looks rushed in some of the episodes
@@yorunoshugeki it's probably coming spring or summer next year. The trailer was preanimated and more of a teaser than an actual trailer. Plus, no release in the trailer. Mappa said they wanted to bring the ultimate in animation, so let's hope they keep their word.

@@madaolover The problem is not enough people have voted in IMDb, every episode needs at least 1k votes and the best Gintama episodes average like 290 so yeah. Other than that Gintama has like 30 episodes higher than 9.7 and it's insane.
