Jessica Chellino - Generating Function for the Isotropic Basis Functions

Abstract: Recently, the 4-Point Correlation Function (4PCF) has been used to search for parity violation in large-scale structure. The 4PCF (and other N-Point Correlation Functions (NPCFs)) are often parameterized with rotationally-invariant isotropic basis functions. Here, I discuss a generating function for these isotropic basis functions, which allows one to efficiently obtain Cartesian representations for them.
