    When I think big band music, the star instrument that always stands out is the lead trumpet. Fantastic tone, man!

      My Dad (Bitsy Mullins) played with Buddy Rich, Dorsey, and others before settling in as a lead player in the Vegas showrooms, and I definitely was schooled by him in the great playing of Gozzo, Manny Klein, and the Triscari brothers (Ray and Joe) amongst others. You definitely have heavyweight musical genes in that family!

      @@dannyfalcone8465 Thanks Danny, I thought so! My Dad used a Connstellation playing lead on the Casino de Paris show in Vegas at the Dunes in the early 60's. Underrated horn, for sure. I still have it!
