My Dad (Bitsy Mullins) played with Buddy Rich, Dorsey, and others before settling in as a lead player in the Vegas showrooms, and I definitely was schooled by him in the great playing of Gozzo, Manny Klein, and the Triscari brothers (Ray and Joe) amongst others. You definitely have heavyweight musical genes in that family!
@@dannyfalcone8465 Thanks Danny, I thought so! My Dad used a Connstellation playing lead on the Casino de Paris show in Vegas at the Dunes in the early 60's. Underrated horn, for sure. I still have it!
When I think big band music, the star instrument that always stands out is the lead trumpet. Fantastic tone, man!
This is what trumpet players go thru live! Love it 😊🎺
You play with such a great lead style. Love it.
Remembering you in Woodbury Jr High jazz band. so happy to see you still.playing and living your dream! Bravo.
I'm breaking trumpet tradition, I know, but I gotta say- that's better than I can do it.
Much better, actually. You sound great!
Wonderful playing! I listened 5 times!
Nice shout section work Bud B is smiling
As a 45 year veteran I appreciate the effort this takes. Good work.

That is really cool! I love that horn so much! My father did that show in the early 1970's, I wonder if they worked together?@@jmprov356
Too funny - we all played the Conn back in the 80s- Right?
What mouthpiece? jw
Honestly better section than the original
No...
@@clawboss2028 yes…
@@gianna3869 it’s really not. This one is great but it doesn’t compare to the style of Sinatra’s trumpets
@@clawboss2028 to me it sounds much alike and maybe even a bit better, ur opinion my opinion
@@gianna3869 ok can you tell me what makes it sounds better to you
This young man is eventually going to be very good. However, listen to Conrad Gozzo playing Sinatra's original version.
I can tell you that Dan is already much better than very good.
Ha! Does ANYONE compare to Gozzo? Pretty high bar there..... 🙂
easy lol
learn to play, don't torture the trumpet
