I think it's a good idea to freshen up the grounds near the back end of that drivers side transmission mount there and another on the drivers door sill that we step over; for us up in the rust belt and coastal areas too I guess.

Hy man. Thank you for all your videos helping me rebuild and put it back together. When I went to do adaptive learning it through forscan I get clutch travel error. And not able to perform clutch travel test. I have checked forks. They have been turned 14x. And I still feel tension on them thoughout those turns.
Any idea if this happened to you.? May be my throw out bearing plates have been dislocated during clutch install.
Sometimes you gotta take it on a drive and let if shift thru all gears before you do a relearn
I did test drive it, but it won’t go to 2nd gear or reverse properly. I will have to increase rpm to 2to 2.5
And after test drive it will say transmission or something transmission malfunction.
Ok. I took it out again. Reinspected the clutch and fork. It looked all good. Changed fork kit anyways and clutch was good too and reset clutch put it back on but same issue. Clutch error.
Although I do have one brake light out.
Would that cause any issue during learning. ?
Hi Bud, I've just changed both Actuators and now whilst the slipping has stopped I'm still getting some juddering. Do you think it would be the clutch?

Wait but if transmission oil doesn’t matter why did my transmission got issues after I changed the fluid????
What type of transmission?
The DPS6 does not shift by fluid pressure. It just lubes the gears.
@@L8R-HP well it looks the same I have a 2012 ford focus the Flex one and after replacing the fluid now after 30 minutes of driving when I stop in a red light if I try to accelerate it won’t what I did was put it in P and then to D and it will drive again I don’t why

What makes other transmissions complicated than this one?
What would cause transmission overheating message in DPS6 (2015 Focus SE) , Fluid changed , TCM also swapped , Luk clutch set installed about 15000 miles , no oil leakage . Thanks

I was wanting to ask if after installing and unlocking the new clutch does it make a clicking noise when rotating. Was needing to know before installing back in car. Thank you in advance
Should not hear any noise when you spin the clutch
@@L8R-HP sorry to bother you again if I remove the new clutch and reinstall will I have to have the clutch reset tool? And any suggestions on what to look for with the clicking sound.
It also feels like it is hard to rotate in spots

Can you use a 2018 transmission in a 2012?
How do you ensure the torque converter stays in place?
There is no torque converter. It’s a dual clutch manual transmission that is shifted by a computer (TCM)
@@L8R-HP oh i see. Thought it was automatic. Maybe because mine is automatic. Do you replace the automatic ones the same speed and sequence? 🤔 I ask because the automatics have high failure rate
@@DeeCarLady it’s is an automatic. It’s a DPS6 transmission. If you have a 2012-18 ford focus or fiesta and it’s an auto, this is what you have
@@L8R-HP what? 🤯... Yes i had a 2013! I sold it as is to someone who wanted to fix it. I get cars often. But if i knew someone in my area that made light work out of this stuff like this id gettem fixed and flip em. I legit didn't realize this about that trans! Thanks for the knowledge!
