Hello li Fan I just started following you! Thank you for the information about the dahon. I have the same exact bike as you. So this video is very informative. Again thank you
This is a great bike, I've had it for almost half a year, never a single problem besides one flat tire. As long as you keep chains and joints properly lubricated.
I dont mean to be so off topic but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the account password. I love any help you can offer me
@Santino Javier thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hi Fan, do you have a recommend replacement 20 inch Tire for my Dahon Mariner? I left my bike in the basement for more than 3 years, I would like to fix it and give it to my son.
Thanks for this. I have a Tern folding bike and I could not find a video to show me how to do this, because their videos are all for their new bikes that has a clip release. When I put everything back together the brakes are now stuck to locked. This is my first bike so I feel very defeated
Changed the inner tube and did every step correctly as far as I can tell, but for some reason when the rear wheel spins freely, it’s almost like there is a little bit of pressure from the brakes being applied, yet the brakes aren’t touching it. Did I do something wrong?
The rear wheel may not be properly centered and is touching one of the seat stays, losen the axle bolts and double check to see the tube is not touching anything besides the brakes.
Nice and helpful as I'm about to do mine. Won't play Kung Fu Panda though. That would be too much of a distraction for me. Also, mine is Kenda too, the slightly more robust K935.
@@heronaddict2 i3 should have a quick-release lever? If not, the procedures of removal/installation should be similar; drop the chain and slide the wheel out.
I'm selling my Dahon Mu SL :) ruclips.net/video/C7MnE7Qhysg/видео.html&ab_channel=LiReviews If you are interested maybe we can make a deal. Upgraded to 10-speed Sram Eagle w/X0 shifters too.
The 1.35" inner tube might not be wide enough to properly support the 1.5" tire, it might work in a pinch, but I'd suggest to buy a inner tube that's at least 1.5". You can always go wider but not thinner than your outer tube.
Removing the rack is unnecessary and as I make many trips of weeks or months so repairing tubes is necessary as carrying a large number of new ones isn't practical. It is much more difficult to remove the wheel from the derailleur and to reinstall it on a speed P-8 .

Nice video , thank you for your time to make it , nice socks too, 😁
Excellent ! (how do you keep it so clean !)
Regular wiping off with warm water and mild wash & wax detergent! :)
@@TheGizmoGarage I have similar bike, vybe i3 with internal hub. Not quite as straightforward as yours to remove.

@@TheGizmoGarage no quick release …. I suppose if I have to change tyre or tube, a simple disconnect of the hub shifter should be all. Thanks
Keeping the tube aligned with the tire after you remove it helps to locate the source of the damage in the tire as you find the leak in the tube.
Nice video. Thanks
Still have this bike?. Looking to buy one

Thank you for the video. I have a Dahon Horize, the tire size is 20 x 1.50. May I know if a 20 1.35 tire would work?

Li Fan thanks! appreciate it. like you know if i succeed to change my tire
What hand pump is that ??? (Nice socks !)
amzn.to/35wEUCF this one, looks like they have redesigned the pressure gauge but non the less,my fav pump to carry with me.

Do you actually know how to change a tyre?
