Tyler is the man, incredibly knowledgable and equally skilled to pair. Years and years of study, and constantly improving his craft is the reason he is such a master, this type of expertise takes decades...

This is so crazy there’s so much more to it than I thought went into welding.

yea, hobby level welding can be done simply.. But welding professionally is extremely complex with countless variable that must be accounted for. Depends on the job, really

I took some welding classes back in '90 and was semi-OK doing structural iron and could have gotten proficient enough to weld pipe, but couldnt TIG to save my life. For me, stainless was the worst, puddled like mud, titanium puddled like water. I never was able to get proficient enough on those materials which were in high demand at the time and location. I ended up with a physics degree and a lucrative career as a systems admin/engineer. With retirement on the horizon, I've picked up a little flux-core wire fed welder for projects and repairs here on the farmstead.
Keep up the great work gents. This country needs more blue collar workers in ALL trades and fewer worthless '*studies' graduates.

@@ratuldeoun7228 yeah but higher barrier to entry means ur labour supply n demand is less volatile than welding. We are affected by new bandwagon jumpers who attend a few weeks of training or companies being cheap and hiring those across the border.
