Horizon Forbidden West Patch 1.3.55 release notes store.steampowered.com/news/app/2420110/view/4173223363960212449
The CPU usage spread in this game is quite remarkable. All 8 Pcores+16 E cores have almost the same utilization, pretty nice to see that some developers utilize available CPU resources properly instead of just 1-2 cores like Dragon's Dogma 2 or Hogwarts Legacy.
I was always led to believe that e-cores were never meant to be utilised for gaming workloads. As i was confounded by their usage in BF2042.
It may seem this way, but surely the game can not saturate 24 threads...
It appears to use them evenly but probably it just constantly alternates between threads. so even at 144p resolution you definitely won't see full CPU usage...
Good to see VRAM usage has been reduces quite significantly. Judging by your previous video of this game it went down from 10,5GB allocated/12GB dedicated to 10,5GB allocated/9GB dedicated.
But some people are saying that Burning Shores DLC is heavier to run, so they still have issues there (VRAM leaks and frame dips during cutscenes).
how do you overclock the 4090! please share.
Hi Bang, there is an RT mod for Control that improves the quality of the RT by enhancing effects such as reflections, refractions, and shadows, and it's more demanding from what I have seen. You could try it if you are interested.
I will check it out
Not a RT mod, just a reshade
@romainbousquet5770 From what I have seen, though, it does significantly improve the quality of RT effects. It also includes enhanced textures and more realistic particle effects.
Is it possible to get cyberpunk running 120 FPS 4K with path tracing and everything set to psycho using a 4090 and i9 14900KS
That would be impossible with the current hardware, Path tracing is extremely taxing.
@@Bang4BuckPCGamer thanks man! Might wait for the 5090, still no news but hopefully it will be able to.
I'm sorry that the video card is always 99/100, I hope with 5000 video cards this will go away... 😢😢😢
That's a good thing, you want your GPU to be fully utilized. If I wanted to reduce GPU load I could always cap the frame rate.
