What a great video, simple straight talk, short history, enthusiasm. Thanks a lot from a Parisian. Eiffel was a great man who left a huge legacy: Many bridges in many countries, structure of the statue of Liberty in New York, first wind tunnel and wind effect studies (aerodynamism), first meteorological reports, long distance transmissions, first studies for the Panama canal. All his life he approached design and construction in a very innovative way, beating his competition with optimisation and risk reduction and shorter construction times. Another achivement was to prepare everything from the factory (no adjustments on site needed) This is how he delivered the Eiffel tower on time, on buget (his own money, it was a all or nothing gamble) and the tower was paid back within 6 months of visits during the 1889 world fair in Paris. Gustave Eiffel graduated in the Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures in 1855 (One of the best French schools at the time and still today). Fun fact: the recent, world-beating bridge of Millau was constructed by a company named Eiffage originating from Eiffel. Again on time, within budget.
Paris and the eifel tower are not only french, they are part of all humanity, like the statue of liberty, the taj mahal, etc... we're an entire civilisation 🙂
I have visited Paris many times and list count 😊 my first visit to the Eifel Tower 🗼 was my first trip and day time, just like all tourist. That was before social media, before FB! So the lines were not too long. My 2nd Eifel Tower 🗼 visit was at night, it was magical, it sparkles ✨ whenever possible, i like to wait for the Eiffel tower 🗼 lights to ne turn on just after sunset, the view around the museum du Lourve grounds is so magical 😊
the british was so furious, they tried to hire Eiffel to build a taller tower in London, he refused, so they builded one with thier engineers, they stopped at first stage, 2 years later it collasped, latter they builded a stadium at wembley 🤣😅😆
Yes, yes yes. AND the earth is flat. AND Apollo 11 landed in a Hollywood studio. AND chemtrails are full of chemicals that scientists and governments seed into our atmosphere. AND have a nice day.
135 years later and the lazer show this monument provided at the olimpics was out of this world.

Bonne Anniversaire Tour Eiffel
Eiffel designed a bridge in Porto, however, it is not the one depicted in the image.
That is true. The bridge on the video is Luis I and the bridge designed by Eiffel was Maria Pia.

I've been to the one with a nice view of the Bellagio fountains.

LOL Its earful, this guy is funny. Lets face it ,the eifel tower is just a huge, fancy T.V Antenae. The first base jumper was an epic failure.
