You can't renegotiate the house selling price once you buy it. And, if it is overvalued, you are stuck with a loss in equity.
The rate can be renegotiated some time down the line.
My husband and I definitely drained our savings when we bought our house. Leave a few grand to the side. The day we moved in, we forgot BLINDS. (It's almost wall to wall windows downstairs.) We cleared out a few stores that night. smh Great tips, Jackie!

thank you for making this video. i appreciate you for being real and for not making those of us who are on our way to purchasing right now feel foolish. i have been working on everything you mentioned for the past couple years to make sure everything is in order and now that i am here, i cannot allow fear to hold me back. i have to remind myself that renting is 100% interest and that i can and WILL be able to do it.

I was taught that if you see multiple pawn shops nearby the house you want it's a red flag.

great video! but we did mistake of draining our savings to buy our first home, we bought our furniture on credit and in my opinion, it wasnt a mistake! i'll do it again lol

I have been looking for house to buy but every time we put offer to buy there is a very big offer on that house like 100k extra ...... why is that?😢
Because there is no inventory and people will pay anything to get a house.
