- Over the weekend of 18-19 May, Collecting Cars hosted its first ever ‘Worldwide Coffee Run’, which proved to be a storming success with more than 10,000 attendees around the globe. The series of nine events took place across four continents, with each of them anchored by members of the Collecting Cars team.
The weekend also saw the roll-out of the refreshed Collecting Cars ‘Coffee Run’ brand identity, which is inspired by British motorsport heroes old and new. As well as giving these events a much greater visual impact in person, the vibrant branding now features across a great range of merchandise that is available to purchase online.

For the fans that have invested in the collecting brand it is disappointing that there has been no news on what is happening with the podcast.
Come on guys, the silence on the podcast front is deafening at this point!
I was emotionally invested. Now I’m getting a bit vexed. I’m not sure that’s the intention of good advertising/promotion.
A little explanation would be nice and then we could say thank you and I hope the gang keep well.

Between the N24, TT, this, and their actual jobs, I'm guessing they've been a little busy. Regardless, Chris did say they ended it, so we should respect that and stop pestering them. They might start it up again, who knows, but these comments are getting silly.

There was post on youtube that said "all good thing must come to an end", though I don't see it on the community page on the channel. More importantly, he said it in the podcast, that since Manish got the ferrari, etc. I think it would be odd to outright say "it's over" like everyone seems to want, for some reason. The truth is probably that they don't know. Or they have a plan to start next week, who knows. I'll take that over "it's over".
We need the addicts back
CC Crew. We know we watched the podcasts for free. We appreciate filming takes time. But to leave it all in the air with no mention of if it will return, instead using a Shorts clip of what was likely just a whimsical reference to it being the end. Yes, Chris Harris is currently busy filming again for the BBC (good for you Chris) but we all invested our time, every week. You have built a podcast petrolheads want. Many of us looked forward to them. If you are going to return with the podcast, say so. If you are not, say so. Failure to do so cannot be good for brand Collecting Cars.
I for one, will continue to look, every Friday, just for the reason to see if you have come back. I think many of us just want to know.
Any idea what he’s filming? I thought he’d nuked the BBC bridge with the book

As an actual addict to the podcast myself, I feel a little left alone with my addiction withdrawl symptoms..... Life is not the same without your podcast !!! Plaese come back in some shape or form ! It´s get itchy out here.....

Loads of news/details on events, cars etc… But nothing regarding the podcast?
I’m sure it isn’t the case, but it’s not harsh to assume it’s because it doesn’t generate enough income for the guys to feel compelled enough to sit and have a natter. 🤔
I know they’re all individually busy people, but it takes a matter of minutes to type up a simple explanation.
Bring back the podcast, I have genuinely neglected the actual website since they stopped the content. Out of sight out of mind!
Really miss the podcast!!! Just introduced some friends to it who are also hooked. Agreed - would massively prefer a podcast of the guys, than a top gear-styled mess about. Thankfully I only got into these about 15 or 20 episodes ago - so at least I can start through the back catalogue for my fix!
Even if it was just a quick post / message on socials saying there will be an update soon, something is better than nothing. The addicts podcast is sorely missed, so please something to address the gigantic elephant in the room, and the storm of comments you're no doubt getting on everything you guys post

I think its perfect if the podcast is done, they end on a high with the Ferrari and even though it still felt very alive, you could see it how it would come apart, some stories where being revisited already, you know everyone's preferences by now so the surprise picks where getting slimmer and slimmer. It was a great thing to watch as they fit so perfectly together but maybe they have to take a year or something, live some new stories, let the world do its thing and they'll have again lots to talk about when it comes back.
Agree 100%, but I guess that the punters all just want to know if it's over or not, so they can just move on. The podcast is part of the brand and a simple statement regarding it's future is really all everyone needs. It's like your favourite band breaking up and just disappearing without any new music and no explanation.

Damaging your brand by the radio silence on collecting addicts podcast at this stage. Doubt I’ll go to another coffee run as no longer feel invested in the brand to be honest. Maybe it’s just me, but I doubt it.

Clearly something’s changed unexpectedly re. the podcast. Contractual, commercial, whatever…I’ll still be here if and when it comes back, and I’d also very much welcome a new line up featuring most of the old crew bickering and enthusing away.

It’s most likely because Chris H is doing a new show with Paddy. Most likely written in his BBC contract he can’t do other shows, just guessing though.
This is my theory as well, but man, a bit of transparency would be appreciated! Additionally, even if that's the case, I'd still take chats with the rest of the addicts over nothing at all!

I can't believe they would put so much effort into building a brand just to walk away from their main point of contact with the public each week. I had never heard of Collecting Cars until the podcast and have been watching cars on the site with a view to purchasing another car.

Move to Adelaide at least. The car culture in this former "motor city" is huge, with multiple, quality cars and coffee style events every week.
