IIBD is a transformation plan to turn Johor Bahru into a metropolis of international standard
Coronation Square is the first project under IIBD
Coronation Square has a gross development value (GDV) of RM3 billion and which is scheduled for completion in 9 to 10 years.
The total 250-acre area covered by IIBD is bordered by Jalan Ayer Molek, Jalan Tun Sri Lanang, Jalan Tun Abdul Razak and Jalan Sultan Ibrahim.
Coronation Square sits on a 6.3 acre site in the IIBD.
It will comprise six towers with a hotel, residences, offices, medical suites,, two serviced apartment towers and a mall with an estimated gross floor area of 80,000 sqft.
Coronation Square will be developed in two phases:
the first phase will comprise the office, one serviced apartment block, the medical suites and the hotel with residences.
This strategic development is important as Johor Baru has experienced a major population increase, which has spurred a major economic growth.

Saya rasa sekarang JB masih no 3..in the next 7-8years JB will be the 2nd City after Klang Valley.This will happen when IIBD with 78storey building coronation square, One Bukit Senyum and few other projects at JB completed. i prefer to see JB with lots of Hotel towers & grade A office towers. i dont really like residential towers in the heart of jb city..i guess Penang will be the no 3 in the next 8 years..im so proud of JDT football club and JB city..Both of them keep growing and growing..it is like PSG for Paris City, Tokyo FC ( currently no1 in J-League table) for Tokyo City..Beijing Guoun for Beijing City..Shanghai SiPG for Shanghai City..Guangzhou Evergrande for Guangzhou city..Seoul FC for Seoul City..Persija Jakarta for Jakarta City, Real Madrid for Madrid City, Bayern Munchen for Munich City, Hertha Berlin for Berlin City, Hanoi FC for Hanoi City, Global FC for Cebu City, Sydney FC for Sydney City, Melbourne Victory for Melbourne City, Perth Glory for Perth City, Intermilan FC for Milan City and Many more...Great Football club will always situated in a big and developed city. i guess Penang should start to develop their Club..Penang FC maybe? kamannn...So proud of JDT in JB city

beat dari segi apa?..bandar singapore penuh cctv tahap keselamatan antara terbaik di asia..tahap kebersihan terbaik di asia,tahap perubatan,ramai pakar perubatan disana dan canggih peralatan mereka,tahap pedidikan mereka masih yg terbaik..sistem jalanraya,lebuhraya,jaringan pengangkutan mrt,bas,teksi semuanya teratur dan berada dlm satu sistem cukup baik..lampu jalan ade di setiap ceruk,pelaburan yg masuk besar saban tahun,pendapatan perkapita bandaraya SG cukup lumayan dan antara terbesar asia tenggara,bandaraya singapore paling kaya dan bernilai..jadi celah mana JB nak beat singapore?..bukan tak boleh,boleh sgt..tapi ubah mentaliti,rasuah rasuah rasuah..ni paling penting dihapuskan kalau nak membangunkan bandar,bangsa yg hebat..
