The best Quick Servants were one's who had amazing Quick cards both for np refund and crit star generation. These were Servants like Jack and Okita. Yeah, they were the lucky ones. So, so many Quick Servants flat-out didn't have a Quick booster in their kits. Caesar, Cu, Diarmuid, Tristan, Billy, Ushi, Marie, Alex, Jing Ke, CA Hassan, and Regend didn't. Jack and Okita were the only ones with a self Quick boost. Scathach had a targetable 50% Quick up, but she was a limited 5-star. The only consistent Servant who could give Quick up to the party in early FGO was Atalanta with a party-wide Mana Burst. And even then her numbers were lower than even Shakespeare and Mozart capping out at a measly 36% beforr her buff. The best teamwide Quick buff you could get was a 1 turn teamwide 36%. Now compare that to Imaginary Around which capped out at a permanent 30% MLB. The QoL/consistency and damage offered by Imaginary Around was incredibly worthwhile especially because FGO was all around slower back then. Another thing to note is that DW was oddly cautious with Quick/treated it like a red-headed stepchild. The first Quick Servant who had a multiple turn Quick up in his kit was Rider Kintoki who was completely bonkers. This felt like it contributed to other "balancing" choices such as when they released Wu Zeitan who had a combined partywide Atk up and Quick up...except the Quick up didn't apply to herself. And you can't forget the sheer lack of Quick supports. Alexander eventually got his own team-wide Quick buff, and Summer Ishtar did have her teamwide Quick/Buster buff-both of them giving 20%. Helena was an amazing rainbow buffer and teamwide np gauge support, but her skill still only boosted Quick up to 20%. There was something missing, there was still no 3-turn 50% Quick up skill, something both Arts and Buster had for years. Arts got Tamamo for Halloween 1. Buster got Nightingale for the 5th Singularity and then promptly got Merlin for Solomon. That was Year 1-2. Quick had no equivalent. It took until LB 2 for DW to release Skadi who elevated Quick's gameplan of 'hit Quick, crit, NP, and win' to the extreme at which point Imaginary Around fell off. She also introduced the idea of looping to Quick Servants. At this point, Quick's gameplan has changed significantly, and Imaginary Around slowly but surely fell off. How much of a boost is 30% Quick up when you already have 100% Quick up? Why wouldn't you be running a starting charge CE to help your Quick Servants Skadi loop? tldr: Imaginary Around was useful earlygame due to both the sheer lack of Quick steroid options and the relatively low value or uptime on them when compared to Imaginary Around. It fell of with the introduction of Skadi and the double Skadi comp which gave a massive Quick steroid that made Imaginary Around less useful than other atk boosting CEs and the increased focus on looping incentived Quick Servants trend more towards starting charge CEs to better facilitate Skadi looping. On one final note, Bond CE Caesar was the King of Quick Supports back in the day. Man gave partywide atk up, np damage up, crit damage up, and a whopping 100% star gen up. Then you could get a permanent 15% up with his Bond CE. Man had insane value by just boosting every faucet of your damage. Beautiful Big Body of Buffs. That was why Caesar was so fat. The man just had too many buffs to give.

BUT I had like 0 Quick units(Mary and Marie don't really count) so I never used them at all..... I mean I eventually got RKin but I didn't have Waver so a 50% charger was always my go to for him.

Nah, man you are absolutely right about it as even as i got Scathach at early game she was hard to use as she had a 6 turn quick mana burst unlike artoria 5 turns wich was a pain in the ass so the imaginary was a good CE but proble is how they buffed the Quick cards alongside the imaginary CE so there's not much reason to equip that CE over an NP gain one as the star drop is alot easier now with Jack dropping at least 50 stars per turn and Okita buffs making her an insane dmg dealer so i don't use the CE and rather an NP gain one so i can span the NP as much as possible with is extremely useful in servants like Achilles with the confusion new effect, Scathach stun and even Ushiwaka as now she has an ensured 50 stars with a triple quick and her star bomb, arts team depend on an arts CE and busters on a Buster or NP dmg CE but quick doesn't as you get C stars like crazy so you get easy crit dmg and NP gain out of the quick meta wich is even better in some boss fights
Yeah I don't have all of them MLB, the game instead decided to heavily give me enough for multiple MLB copies of a few of them, mostly Kscope and BG. Both of which I think have have like 3-4 copies of them MLB. Shame I don't have Prisma or Volumen MLB yet, I do hold like 2-3 copies. Have to say, both of those are probably the best ones for their effects. I like putting Prisma on my supports for the arts team on CQs.
I've had an MLB Black Gail for years, but now I can finally MLB Kaleidoscope. Had 5 and didn't want to get rid of having multiple copies, but now I'll have 1 max and 1 min to work with.
Be smart and get black grail everyone. It's better. Long lasting and never gets automatically blocked by a drain charge enemy like kama in ooku for example Plus getting a spook black grail while having one is better than getting a spook kscope when you already one of those
I mean multiple K-scope are nice, and even if you don't want multiple, getting the atk boost from leveling up a single K-scope can make or break your farming comp. Don't disagree entirely with the BG sentiment though. It is ridiculously strong.

Bg literally gives a higher attack and overall damage that will get you through that last bit of health the bosses got. Even that multi core stuff people keep talking about you got append castoria charge to get to 100 plug second castoria and you'll be fine. Even if you somehow need castoria np I just use the Kiara ce. Way better and gives way more shields so the gacha has better options too that you'd want to spook you with anyways.
I have all of the Ce's limit broken and like 3 non-limit broken K-Scopes. I'm 1 copy short of getting a second copy of Prisma limit broken, so I'll probably pick it. I also have a soft spot for that CE, since it helped me quite a lot way back in the Boar CQ.
Quick reminder that even Black Grail and KScope are of limited value once Arcueid hits. That's why Lasengle is giving them away now. Your most common team comps will be using bond gain CEs on all 6 servants, since Arcueid/Arcueid/summer Ibuki can use their NPs without support. Arcueid is a potato but will still deal enough damage on regular farming nodes to not need Black Grail. 90++ nodes are all specialized to the event and you'll end up using the event CE most often on those.
Funny thing is mlbed kscope and even got one extra copy on the first Oberon banner, and I have really never needed to use it. The 50% ces have always been enough for me, even during the skadi era. But man the amount of times I wished I had a mlb black grail, especially for 90+ since I have a pretty nice cu caster to go along with it. It would make a drastic difference. I just need two more copies to mlb, one from this ticket and one from the gacha. Lord help me.
my advice would be if you are starting literally rn, or if you dont have any of the meta supports pick k scope, otherwise pick bg, there are so so many ways to get charge these days and more in the future, if you have both pick bg to mlb, append skill makes mlb kscope kinda useless compared to damage increase of mlb bg bg- black grail mlb - max limit break, its when you feed 4 copies of a ce to original one, making it have better effects Edit: I would also recommend summon for anny first maybe you get lucky
Counter point. Waver is free and xuu fuu is also going to be free. So you got two meta supports right there. New players if they start right this second. Same thing get black grail and spam the story until you get 900 quarts and go for SIbuki banner. In one month you got waver xuu fuu SIbuki and erice for a strong starting arts account with friend castoria and Dr p to make the difference.
After playing for like 5-6 years I finally got both BG and KScope MLB in the same rolling session (like 3 copies each all at once, it was crazy, and it was during my Ibuki rolls which made it even crazier), and I also got an extra copy for both soon after (so now they're both MLB+1). That being said I haven't really touched KScope in like 2-ish years (I think I've used it once after MLB-ing it), and I only use BG during CQ's (which while still infrequent is a lot more common than KScope). Though I guess once 90++ drops I'll likely use BG a lot more since I think 6CE is mostly beyond me. All that to say I have 0 idea what I want to pick, I have an MLB Prisma, more than enough Volumen (MLB and 4 other copies), MLB Sakura and Rin, and 2 non-MLB copies of Shiro (absolutely not picking this one though). I'm probably just going to go for BG, another MLB one will at least look good on my support list (whenever that happens).
Got my 4th copy of Kscope. I already have a maxed black grail, this is my 4th Kscope. I'd say I want to aim for 7 copies ideally, so I have one maxed to use on non-mana loaded servants and 3 total to use in towers. So still some work to do.
I have 3 copies of Kscope and 3 copies of BG. just imagine the look on my face if i choose one for the tickets and a spook of the other on my later rolls
thankfully the 3 kscopes i got from a single banner earlier this year made this choice pretty easy, i do need 2 more black grails for mlb but it's a step in the right direction
I'm glad they bring out stuff like this for newer players, but I've been around long enough, and have been degenerate enough to have both KS and BG MLB on both my accounts. I think I only have 1 prisma cosmos on my second account so I'll probably take that there so I can run two. My main account I legitimately don't know. I think I have all of these MLB multuple times over there. Still thank you for the video regardless! Definitely gotta agree that Kscope has fallen off in usefulness over the years.

I'll be picking Kscope this time. I have MLB copies of all the other CEs with 2 Black Grails (one of them at lvl 100). Kscope is only 1 away from being MLB, so easy choice for me.
So...I went to my Craft Essences to see which I don't have limit broken. Kaleidoscope is max, Black Grail is max, Prisma Cosmos is Max, Volumen Hydragyrum is max, Limited/Zero Over is max, and Imaginary Around is max....ALL OF THEM but Formal Craft are maxed already XDD;; and it was only one away so I took it. So now all of them are max LB :3
For me this is a very easy choice: Volumen because I somehow managed to never roll a single copy of it, while at the same time having 6+ copies of every other CE.
My 4 Black grails are waiting for the last one so I can make Exodia's fist and shove it down the enemy's throats. Also, I have like 7 scopes iirc and 2 Imaginary elements
I'm calling the kscope people k-cope as it's pure copium that they think in this day and age especially now where you can start an account with waver xuu fuu that kscope is needed. Black grail will make any new and old player much better as a result Black grail even on base is super op and combine that with xuu fuu friend castoria and any and all aoe loopers like Valkyrie assassin or SIbuki and boom you got an end game farming account right there regardless of being new or old. Kscope just didn't age well and many people can loop at 50 or 0 making it irrelevant as a whole and so low on damage especially to higher end bosses and farming stages.
Black grail is already level 100, and I'm 1 kscope away from mlb. The only reason I really don't want to get kscope is that I won't mlb it, because having 1 mlb kscope isn't worth losing 2 80% kscopes. I think.
Jokes on you i already have most of them MLB except Formal Crafts,Imaginary Around and Kscop hence why, as a quick believer, will get closer to MLB Imaginary Around ( Don't compare me to Beryl though i begeth)
I don't wanna be that guy but I have a MLB Kscope and 3 copies of Black Grail. Im not sure if another copy of black grail would be good or if I should just get another CE I dont have.
Already have MLB black grail, lvl 100super scope, mlb 3 invul CE, MLB shirou, and got MLB sakura on jp, so... I'm really torn between going for 5th copy of format craft or 5th copy of prisma cosmos. This video successfully made me tilt a bit in favor of the latter but still haven't fully made up my mind.
I feel like mlb keleido is only useful for the attack since most 5 stars can get to their append mana by bond 6. Making 100 starting unnecessary. I have an 80 cap keleido and 1 20 keleido. I also have and mlb black Grail. So I probably be aiming for the other ces

I'm not expert enough to use Black Grail despite having most of the Meta Supports minus Skadi but Kaleidoscope is a good choice for me but the battery append skill makes it easier to use so picking a 5 Star CE is hard to do so I'll probably do a Coin Toss between the 2 CEs and I do technically have a few copies due to spooking/bad Rolls.
When this first appeared on JP, I had three copies of BG and thought, "aha! Just one more copy and I'll be able to MLB with this ticket!" Two years later, this ticket arrives to give me my fourth copy! Maybe in another year or two or seven the gacha will see fit to bestow upon me my fifth.
I have 2 limit broken copies of Black Grail and 1 away from a third, and I have a limit broken Kscope and I'm 1 away from a second. Should I go for the 3rd black grail or the 2nd fully broken k scope?
I have all of them MLBd multiple times (aside from Volumen since MLBing it won't improve the invuln part), EXCEPT KSCOPE AND BLACK GRAIL. Both of them still need 1 more copy to MLB. What a tough choice. But, since my Morgan can 3T farm with no problem using MLB Aerial Drive, I think KScope is less important than Black Grail, that I can use to speedrun some non-farming contents like story boss fight for example.
Picking Black Grail. I have 8 copies of KScope and only 2 black grails and I really need that Limit Broken of Grail because my NP1 Spish is starting to struggle
So i have 3 copies of KScope and 2 Marshalls (don't use them), and zero Black Grails. Been using Morgan as general farmer and damage dealer (since her release I used her in all events). Should probably go for BG, right? I also have castoria and a few good arts loopers, so that might come in handy for them too. I just question if a single copy of BG is good enough to consider using, without the atk stats.

While Wizard Marshal isn't a good replacement for Kscope, I'd say you're close enough to a MLB Black Grail that you should grab a copy of it with the ticket and then hope you roll the last ones.
3rd BG 100% not only you get more levels for it so better dmg you get closer to MLB. Kscope even at mlb isn't that much better than 50% charge CEs with secondary effects in today's meta, in some cases even worse.

I think for a new account kscope is better but a mid level account and above is definitely BG.

my advice would be if you are starting literally rn, or if you dont have any of the meta supports pick k scope, otherwise pick bg, there are so so many ways to get charge these days and more in the future, if you have both pick bg to mlb, append skill makes mlb kscope kinda useless compared to damage increase of mlb bg

New players if they start right this second. Same thing get black grail and spam the story until you get 900 quarts and go for SIbuki banner.
In one month you got waver xuu fuu SIbuki and erice for a strong starting arts account with friend castoria and Dr p to make the difference.
After playing for like 5-6 years I finally got both BG and KScope MLB in the same rolling session (like 3 copies each all at once, it was crazy, and it was during my Ibuki rolls which made it even crazier), and I also got an extra copy for both soon after (so now they're both MLB+1).
That being said I haven't really touched KScope in like 2-ish years (I think I've used it once after MLB-ing it), and I only use BG during CQ's (which while still infrequent is a lot more common than KScope).
Though I guess once 90++ drops I'll likely use BG a lot more since I think 6CE is mostly beyond me.
All that to say I have 0 idea what I want to pick, I have an MLB Prisma, more than enough Volumen (MLB and 4 other copies), MLB Sakura and Rin, and 2 non-MLB copies of Shiro (absolutely not picking this one though).
I'm probably just going to go for BG, another MLB one will at least look good on my support list (whenever that happens).

I'd argue Imaginary Around is the better of the 30% Color Buff CEs on account of how few decent CEs are available that boost Quick.
Got my 4th copy of Kscope. I already have a maxed black grail, this is my 4th Kscope. I'd say I want to aim for 7 copies ideally, so I have one maxed to use on non-mana loaded servants and 3 total to use in towers. So still some work to do.
I have 3 copies of Kscope and 3 copies of BG. just imagine the look on my face if i choose one for the tickets and a spook of the other on my later rolls

thankfully the 3 kscopes i got from a single banner earlier this year made this choice pretty easy, i do need 2 more black grails for mlb but it's a step in the right direction
BG and Prisma are built and I still need two KScopes; would be an easy choice if it had 2030.
I'm glad they bring out stuff like this for newer players, but I've been around long enough, and have been degenerate enough to have both KS and BG MLB on both my accounts. I think I only have 1 prisma cosmos on my second account so I'll probably take that there so I can run two. My main account I legitimately don't know. I think I have all of these MLB multuple times over there. Still thank you for the video regardless! Definitely gotta agree that Kscope has fallen off in usefulness over the years.

I'll be picking Kscope this time. I have MLB copies of all the other CEs with 2 Black Grails (one of them at lvl 100). Kscope is only 1 away from being MLB, so easy choice for me.
So...I went to my Craft Essences to see which I don't have limit broken. Kaleidoscope is max, Black Grail is max, Prisma Cosmos is Max, Volumen Hydragyrum is max, Limited/Zero Over is max, and Imaginary Around is max....ALL OF THEM but Formal Craft are maxed already XDD;; and it was only one away so I took it. So now all of them are max LB :3
This made me realize I’ve gotten really lucky with ce’s because the only one here I don’t have is the shirou one
Sad part is I limited broke all of them...
Already have 6 copy of K-scope but more max K-Scope is always welcome.
For me this is a very easy choice: Volumen because I somehow managed to never roll a single copy of it, while at the same time having 6+ copies of every other CE.
Kscope easy pick for me, have been stuck with 4 copies for ages. It also helps that I already have Black Grail MLB so the choice could not be easier.

I'm calling the kscope people k-cope as it's pure copium that they think in this day and age especially now where you can start an account with waver xuu fuu that kscope is needed. Black grail will make any new and old player much better as a result
Black grail even on base is super op and combine that with xuu fuu friend castoria and any and all aoe loopers like Valkyrie assassin or SIbuki and boom you got an end game farming account right there regardless of being new or old.
Kscope just didn't age well and many people can loop at 50 or 0 making it irrelevant as a whole and so low on damage especially to higher end bosses and farming stages.
Black grail is already level 100, and I'm 1 kscope away from mlb. The only reason I really don't want to get kscope is that I won't mlb it, because having 1 mlb kscope isn't worth losing 2 80% kscopes. I think.

I'm not expert enough to use Black Grail despite having most of the Meta Supports minus Skadi but Kaleidoscope is a good choice for me but the battery append skill makes it easier to use so picking a 5 Star CE is hard to do so I'll probably do a Coin Toss between the 2 CEs and I do technically have a few copies due to spooking/bad Rolls.

When this first appeared on JP, I had three copies of BG and thought, "aha! Just one more copy and I'll be able to MLB with this ticket!"
Two years later, this ticket arrives to give me my fourth copy! Maybe in another year or two or seven the gacha will see fit to bestow upon me my fifth.

IMO MLB KScope isn't as valuable as it was due to appends being a thing now, BG just offers so much more with MLB
I have all of them MLBd multiple times (aside from Volumen since MLBing it won't improve the invuln part), EXCEPT KSCOPE AND BLACK GRAIL. Both of them still need 1 more copy to MLB. What a tough choice. But, since my Morgan can 3T farm with no problem using MLB Aerial Drive, I think KScope is less important than Black Grail, that I can use to speedrun some non-farming contents like story boss fight for example.

So i have 3 copies of KScope and 2 Marshalls (don't use them), and zero Black Grails. Been using Morgan as general farmer and damage dealer (since her release I used her in all events). Should probably go for BG, right? I also have castoria and a few good arts loopers, so that might come in handy for them too. I just question if a single copy of BG is good enough to consider using, without the atk stats.
Even at 0*, Black Grail is a huge leap in power over pretty much any other CE. I'd say it's worth picking for general usage.

While Wizard Marshal isn't a good replacement for Kscope, I'd say you're close enough to a MLB Black Grail that you should grab a copy of it with the ticket and then hope you roll the last ones.
3rd BG 100% not only you get more levels for it so better dmg you get closer to MLB.
Kscope even at mlb isn't that much better than 50% charge CEs with secondary effects in today's meta, in some cases even worse.
