I picked these babies up as my starter clipper and I had the same problem with those guards during a few cuts. The teeth, if called that, are extremely flimsy and fold in all directions. Glad I picked up the Single magnet Andis guards.
Also it's good to see an actual video of the Pro Alloys in action since there are only a few reviews out there.

I have always had the same problems with the nano guards on my Andis Masters. I wish they would blend without having to do all that extra work. I love your videos man, your my favorite barber hands down. I really appreciate your review on the Alloys.

I'm 100% with him on the enhancement and Photoshop... Some barbers can do a good fade and destroy their work by adding all the paint and stuff
Ok so I just bought the andis pro alloy fade and as far as I can tell the only difference is the top is blue and they have thinner blades,the fade is insane and on the guards I went with the speedos.your fade was cold blooded my man

The envy has a slightly shorter throw, the guards aren't really the issues

You can use the Andis single magnet guards for these which fit good and doesn't get in the way of the screws.

make the video about todays barber versus yesterdays , I'm completely old school with my style and service . I service regular 9 to 5 working and business men that don't want paint all over there head or a childish design just a solid cut with a respectful relaxing service ... just my experience in the industry this fare .

vic, getting out that very first guideline is my biggest challenge, it seems like I'll never get it right. i just can't get that transition as good as i want it. thanks for another good video
Jeremy Drago zero gap your clipper and it will be a lot easier to get out the bald line.
try these steps and you will get it.

It's very good clipper like you mentioned the 1 1/2 - 2 fade was a issue you just have to get a technique down a my 1/16 guard wasn't fitting on my blade well I don't use it an the screws on the top blade are cheap an strip easy I replaced mine with Wahl screws.
we need a comparison to the masters
take some pliers and bend the metal clip on the wahl premium guards back a little and the guards snap on the alloy no problem!! And just get a new set of wahl guards for the seniors
What I like is that you can hear every hair being cut wahl seniors does not give you that noise effect
if i'm ever in this guy area the first thing i'm doing is looking this guy up

vick i use the vaucro #2 metal guard to substitute for the 1 1/2, I compared it with the wahl 1 1/2 one day cutting works like a charm

Which clippers are they comparable to with the open and closed position? Does it cut as long as a Wahl Senior or an Andis Master open? Same with the closed position.
Vick, right now I’m looking for clippers that you can hear cut the hair. You can hear all of them, I know, but I’m looking for the loudest cutting blades. So far the Andis Masters have given me the most sound but I’m looking for better. How well can you hear these Alloys? Would you say average, quiet, or loud?
