I do plan on getting the game but it might be until after it comes out. Also, glad that the Ashen Wolves are returning. They were great in Three Houses and I expect them to be just as good in this game.

But isn't byleth like just barely stronger than the average unti in three houses? I don't remember them being an unkillable badass, just a hard-to-kill badass

Not here, but there was a clip of God Byleth later that uses a teleport ability that's pretty damn close to it.

Because you play byleth in 3h, its to keep up emergion for fans who played the other games and to people who didnt they wont appreciate it as much but its not emergion breaking.

I’m very curious how Byleth is going to come across the Sword of the Creator in this game. Since it’s at the monastery and they aren’t affiliated with Garreg Mach, I wonder how they’ll end up wielding it.
Byleth and Jeralt (Mostly Byleth) are still persons of interest to the church (Rhea). And with having heard of Jeralt Mercenaries there’s a chance that he’ll eventually find them and “escort” them to the monastery.
Byleth has never used the sword of the creator in any of the 3 Hopes trailers thus far. However, we have seen enlightened Byleth with the light green hair. I wonder how they fuse with Sothis in this timeline.
@@l.n.3372 True, but it would be pretty silly for them to *not* have Byleth wield the sword. They’re such a major character and the Sword of the Creator is probably the most iconic weapon in 3H. Unless they have Shez wield it, but that would just make no sense. And since Byleth does fuse with Sothis, we can still confirm their link and it would be highly unlikely Byleth would not wield her Hero’s Relic.
@@Curlorly06 they might end up getting hold of it after their awakening and fusion with sothis rather than before it.
Maybe they’ll have Byleth team up in some routes but not in other routes. Like for example, Azure Gleam will have the kingdom take in the church so maybe Rhea will also hire off the Jeralt Mercenaries cause why not get your prior captain and one holding your mom’s heart to defend you and your practice while in something like Scarlet Blaze Byleth will continue to be an enemy cause why Shez is a higher up in the army and would probably be against it and Byleth would probably still be in the kingdom or something else.
That was one of the aspects of 3h I was always quite interested in, what the 'Ashen Demon' was like. Not dissapointed. I hadn't quite expected her to take the time to tell you that you suck before leaving though.
even though this is just a demo version I can tell this game is going to be more intense in the last fire emblem hack and slash game.
I feel like they learned from the first game and Age of Calamity. This game feels more like a better blend of Musou and Fire Emblem.

Well Byleth is a mercenary so none of this is personal from her point of view.
The Ashen Demon at this point in the story doesn't have any particular allegiance.
She's a mercenary she's hired to do whatever

Because Hapi was a danger to people. Shez was just some merc who's power was less catastrophic.
That child said something about not letting the cycle of the world die with Shez. Doesn’t that mean Byleth’s actions as the savior of the world breaks the divine cycle of pain and he chose Shez to make sure they fail to do so?
Byleth's existence in three houses creates a cycle of pain. The act of them taking the professor job at the monastery creates a ripple effect that leaves everyone worse off.
I disagree. Byleth is the result of Rhea’s experiments and most of the conflict is either the result of Edelgard’s ambition or the consequences of Rhea’s past

Running into Byleth puts Fohdlan and the house leaders in a far worse state for over half a decade and gives those who slither far more power in that time.

Byleth wasn't a Rhea experiment. Byleth was born to Sitri freely and willingly: Sitri chose to have a child with Jeralt, not knowing that her baby would have heart problems and be stillborn without the crest of flames.
I guess in Three Houses, Byleth just drove that sword into Shez.

Wow byleth is clearly the villain in this game reminds me of where the main character was the villain in the prequel game stalker clear sky
You know, I have a theory that the slitherers will eventually hire Jeralt's Mercenaries to rob the Holy Moseleum, where they will find the Sword of the Creator (and resonates with Byleth even without the Crest Stone of Flames). And since Shez is going to ally with a house leader, they will fight the slitherers -- and hence Awakened Byleth with Sword of the Creator
This is also quite possible since Jeralt doesnt trust Rhea and fled with Byleth when she was a baby. So robbing the Church and unfolding the hidden secrets of the Church is a possible job Jeralt would accept as a band of mercenaries
a battle between a divine anime wifu/husbando vs a divine anime wifu/husbando, truly a godly duel.
So, is this a timeline where Byleth ends up being the villain?
Byleth was always the villain, now they're the antagonist as well.

It's not a villain thing; this is the prologue where Shez and Byleth just happen to be working for different employers during their mercenary days. It's just business.

Little hard to understand this one, is it like a story from a parallel world where we never met the three houses and became a instructor? Or just a completely separate story with no connection to three houses?
It's kind of like a continuation. But have to play more before I can deduce anything.

@@jackmanleblanc2518 Byleth literally died on the tutorial stage of FETH and saved by Sothis rewinding time...it's more than reasonable to assume the exact same thing happened since we saw Byleth plunge her sword into Shez and then Arval appearing.
Shez is just sorta immortal.

Could still die later in the game but we don't know. This game takes place in an alternate universe following a different timeline, and this particular scene canonically happens a decent while before three houses started. At this time, even in the three houses universe, Jeralt was alive since they hadn't even met the lords and gone to garreg mach yet.
