not sure where you got the info on St Silas being a "prototype of Durham". Durham was built side by side with Salisbury in Willis' workshops. H&H didn't get hold of it until 1935.
I was told that by someone from Blackburn.....I am pretty sure if Harrison & Harrison rebuilt the organ of Durham Cathedral, the maybe they did rebuild it based on the St Silas' organ, and if you've not seen it, Jonathan Scott has released a video of the St Silas organ

Interesting instrument,maybe with it having a Historic certificate it should be able to get some help in having it fully restored ?
