I hit my first dredging season here in idaho. The first few hours in the water are super cold. As the day goes on u get more used to it. Awsome find brother thanks for sharing
All big gold, as usual, is in the mountains...the closer you get to the place from where it comes, the bigger nuggets you will find)) That's the main rule... That was awesome! Congratulations! Keep making videos about this way of getting gold! That's very interesting!
I'm almost glad you forgot your gopro. This is the sort of experience you should have without having to worry about filming and reacting. Though having it on camera might also have been good, just to relive it. Anyway, congratulations!
Awesome! Won’t be offended if you don’t want to disclose. Traveling to Vancouver tomorrow for work. On the way back to Calgary what area would you recommend to hobby pan for a few hours?
Personally I enjoy trying new places just because they are pretty, or convenient! I've definitely stopped for a pan or short hike to stretch my legs many different places along the way. Many places without good gold were still worth the stop! Without getting too far off the beaten path I'd maybe try the public panning reserve in Hope. Otherwise just find a nice spot when it's time to take a break and give it a try!
Another pioneer Pauly ?. As there is one there is usually more friends nugget wise . I was on one end of a sand bar . going into a valley with steep sides when a black bear happened on the other end . There I was Me shitting bricks , the Bear, and my truck on the other side of the bear . No bear spray then , just a steel pan and shovel and thinking what to do . Started yelling and banging the pan as hard as I could . It must have shocked the bear , because he took off like greased lightening . He went up the side of the valley faster then I could run flat out on flat ground . . After scrapping out the shorts I immediately headed for the truck . Hahaha should have asked the bear if he wanted to pan for some gold , you think?
Great story Bart! If I ever am having a casual conversation face to face with a black bear, I'll remember this and be sure to ask them to give me some pointers on panning for gold!haha!
Nice piece, congrats! But that’s where the nice gold is. And you will need to get set up for cold water as late fall to early spring will be the best times to go. I think wet suit sniping is beyond my skill set but I will cheer you on in your adventures.
Nice piece of gold awesome brother
Incredible man!!! Excellent score with that beautiful nugget. Stoked for you
Thanks man! It was a great day!

It's a beautiful to visit the underwater world, regardless of the gold you find! Whole new rabbit hole to learn too :)
Sick brother, winning!
Awesome man, Great video. We would love to find a river to snipe
Nice piece - congrats!
And what's the weight of it?
Best regards from Germany!
Thanks! If I remember correctly, it was just under half a gram.

I kind of thought you were going to try sniping for gold as per the videos last fall. Wow, a great start to a new season.
Nice job. Just found your channel. Keep up the hard work. Looking forward to seeing future vids. Heavy pans 😎

Great video mate 👍, time for a thicker wetsuit hood and gloves you'll clean up next time for sure 👌
That InReach GPS clipped to your left shoulder can be replaced by an iPhone in 2023!
That's crazy cool what Space X is doing with the generation II starlink. Looking forward to it!
