Chinese Diesel Heater Fitting/Install Ford Connect Micro Campervan

In this episode of the Ford Connect micro campervan conversion, I fit a Chinese diesel heater in the rear of the Ford Connect campervan (See links below for items used). The diesel heater will provide plenty of hot air when the van starts to get cold and is fed from a dedicated 10l diesel tank which is housed in the base of the tambour unit. The Chinese diesel heater can be programmed to turn on & off at set times using a 7 day timer built in to the control unit, or it can be manually turned on and off when desired. The installation of the Chinese diesel heater is very straight forward and can easily be completed within a day and once fitted, the Chinese diesel heater provides plenty of hot air to ensure the internals of the campervan stay warm and toasty,

Had a 5kw in mine last winter, it was way too much, now have a 2kw which is much better. I sited mine at the rear on passengers side, near the back door.

the heater would only need to be on 5-10 minutes in such a small space and then off it goes again

Would have been easier if you just used the fuel line to pull the nozzle threw the tank

Why did you use a Diesel heater instead of lpg blower like on a previous install years ago.

cheaper to purchase and cheaper to run

I had a propane heater in a van and it made everything sweat horribly, diesel heaters give a much drier heat
