There's actually people like her at most Job Centres, trust me, I was on the JSA for a year from 1998 to 1999, till I eventually got fed up of being chuffed about and told them to kiss my arse. Seriously they do get fed up of the job and serving people who clearly have no intention of ever working, they're just going through the motions to keep getting their money.

Theme tune written by David Mackay. He also wrote the music for Auf Wiedersehen Pet series 1 and 2. I own a Yamaha DX7 synth which belonged to him (might even be the one I can hear in this song).
My dad passed away last month and my wife just found some change and she said it was for bread and this song came into my head baring in mind I was 1 when this came out so I know my dad's here with me because he used to sing this whenever someone said bread 😂😂😂
The Brookside producers deliberately chose Bryan Murray for the part of Trevor Jordache because he played the likeable Shifty in Bread, choosing to show the actor in a more sinister role.
I have only seen this once or twice, as I stumbled across it wondering what it was. It was the episode where Joey was in love with a lady called Roxy and her husband was beating her up and Joey wanted to help her. I have also played the board game too.
