The waterwhole should have shallow edges which are not so deep to make sure every baby can get out by itself- but the space seems much too small for a nice Elephant home! More quality than quantity!!! Am so glad the baby is still alive cause of the awareness of the tall ones- and I hope they didn't had to learn by a bad case when they couldn't help fast enough.

Que espacio tan pequeño les tienen a estos hermosos e inteligentes Elefantes. Es muy pequeño para tan grandes ellos 😟🐘pobrecitos .y hasta la puerta les tocan para que los dejen salir a la libertad de dónde deben de ser. na de redding wat mooi en intelligent is hoe er nog alarm geslagen wordt op het hek naar verzorgers toe ; of andere betekenis ? : heeft blijdorp dit gezien ?
Omg! The elephant is kicking the shit out the gate to get the workers to open it. They just glanced over and walked away. I wish the visitors yelled to them and said the baby fell in. Then maybe they would have opened the gate and checked her out. I WILL NEVER VISIT THIS ZOO!!! NEVER!!!!
Look at the size of the enclosure for FOUR elephants! What habitat enrichment is there? At least they are together and there is not just one solitary elephant - that's the only good thing I can see in this prison. 😨😱😰
They were in this smaller section because the keepers were cleaning the other, bigger part. Normally this smaller section is for the male Elephant who lives solitary, so big enough space for him.

Dit zijn hele oude beelden... de leefgebied voor de olifanten is nu inmiddels veel meer uitgebreid
Dit is maar een klein gedeelte van het verblijf. Normaal staat het mannetje hier en staan de vrouwtjes aan de andere kant in het veel oudere gedeelte.
