Great tank straight out of the box, but Torro got to do something about their main boards for more realistic driving, just like Heng Long with their V7.0 electronic.
But luckily the V3 board is installed in this tank which means that another remote can be plugged in, and fine tuned via the remote.

Ive got a Taigen/Torro Jagpanther currently mid build with the V3 but i think im going to buy an Elmod currently have a very nice 7:1 shaft gearbox, and id like to see what it can do with proper slow speed control! Plus the gearbox features that Elmod have!

@@JFulls94 yeah the stock main board and remote are garbage, especially if the tank comes with the 3:1 gearbox.
It is so hard to drive realistic...
Luckily the V3 can be connected to another remote where you can adjust speed, expo, endpoint etc..
But yes the Elmod is a very nice main board and can be adjusted as you wish, so I would recommend it 💯
I have it in my King Tiger, with simulation gearshift, it is pretty cool 😎

@@FloridaKeysPirate thanks! Well I will try and make it short, and remember this is my personal view:
Torro is a very great tank, but I recommend replacing the gearbox if it comes with a 3.1 as mine did.
I personally like the 4.1 gearbox, great power and easy to drive realistic.
It is a much heavier tank than Heng Long with a great weight distribution, and comes in a nice wooden box for transport.
Easy to take apart since it is a Torro, with quick release for taking the upper hull off to access the electronics.
Heng Long comes with a much better main board which is much easier to drive realistic out of the box.
Especially if it comes with TK 7.0.
They are not as heavy, which can be easier for transporting it around.
The barrel is controlled by up and down movement of the stick on the controller, where Torro has this stupid system with the barrel going up and down by only moving the stick down.
      Look at it like this:
Do you like to make easy modifications and want a heavy tank - then buy Torro
      Or
A great tank straight out of the box and not interested in modifications and such - Buy a Heng Long
Heng Long needs a screwdriver for taking apart the upper and lower hull

@@FloridaKeysPirate I could write a whole essay about the pros and cons of both tanks 😂

@RCPanzerDK Thanks for the info. I think I'll just start with the Heng Long King Tiger Pro edition. It looks cool out of the box , and has some metal upgrades. If I get hooked , I'll look at more expensive options for my next one. Thanks again.

@@FloridaKeysPirate You won't regret it, they are fantastic tanks, but remember to look after one with atleast TK6.0 or newer electronics.
Only downside with heng long metal is that it is not painted, so you have to do that yourself. (of course not if you like the look of bare metal)
Always at your service, you can write to me at anytime😁

      Thanks!
Yeah it is way overkill, lol.
But luckily Torro main boards have a switch to turn off tank recoil
