Very good information about transmission cable .here in Chennai most of the dealer use shield wire 1sqmm .i have faced lots communication error problem. Now I understood may be chance if we laid shielded wire may work like antenna.
your description of twisted-pair copper might have missed the word "stranded", which is "special" in that some infrastructure wiring uses solid-core because it doesn't move around; stranded wire is for places the wires jiggle or move, so STRANDED wire that is permanently connected is "special" (see how most of your permanent wiring is solid-core).
Good explanation of the three common wiring topologies. Couple thoughts: 18/2/stranded/twisted/non-shielded/no-ground/plenum-rated wire is "special" compared to what that majority of Contractors are accustomed to using. 2. Are you sure telling installers that switching polarity throughout an install (not best practice) is a good idea?
Nice information knowledge

What if you have branch selectors
Hey Deavon,
You would go from the outdoor unit to the BS boxes and then from BS boxes to the units that are piped to the BS box
