There is no confusion with Rosetta, friend! (I’m dedicated to accuracy, beyond time stamps, & am graciously confident with my track record, knowing that errors will arise! 🙏🏽) 💡Please check out the Trio’s recent performance “Live at Smoke” vol. 1 (recorded Feb. 17th) - you will see a complete listing for the tune, La Rosita: 🔹 Paul DuPont was a *pseudonym* for composer *Walter Haenschen;* AND, equally, the lyricist was a gentleman named *Lester O’Keefe,* who was published under the pseudonym Allen Stuart. 🔹 Earl “Fatha” Hines is the arranger and inspiration behind Emnet’s performance. In this performance in Warsaw, I failed to identify Hines in this capacity & include the actual composer/ lyricist duo 🔹 I hope we can all enjoy this beautiful tune as well as this information! I’m *always* poised to learn together & receive listener insights that benefit all of us, on those occasions when helpful! 💯🌍💌
@@Meira_A Thanks for the extra info :), didn't mean to downplay your knowledge and accuracy. I know the tune of a the recording by Coleman Hawkins & Ben Webster, where the name Paul Dupont is mentioned. Thanks for the clarification.
Thank you very much! It was great fun making this video and mixing the sound. Also an amazing inspiration to be at this concert... thank you @WeAreJassmine
We all owe Barry Harris for all the beauty he's given us himself, and through the thousands of musicians he's both taught and inspired. As I listen to one of them, I remember the many evenings I've spent in his presence.
I have seen most of the great jazz pianists in my time; from George Shearing to Oscar Peterson & Joe Sample & of course Bill Evans. So discovering you is a gift because, JAZZ. lives when younger persons make it live as though it is reborn.
@@cooldebt I agree. I need to get back to New York where I was born and bred and get up to Emmet's apartment on a Monday night. I live in Florida now and when Emmet plays down here I get to visit with him during intermission.
You're wright, sounds amazing, great sound engineer. And fabulous band of course, you must seen them live, they gave you much more than music. Fabulous as always.
Are people actually smoking at that joint? Pretty unusual these days. I've not visited a jazz club where smoking was allowed in about 25 years or so. Otherwise, the band is playing great, as always.
Kyle Poole is such an imaginative drummer, his whole attitude is a revelation and a joy
Thx!

La Rosita is a composition by Paul Dupont, you are confusing with 'Rosetta', which is indeed written by Earl Hines. Thanks for the timestamps however!
Thank you, Meira, your set lists are very welcome! (even with little mistakes corrected by readers 😉)

Thanks for all you do
Thank you Tomasz (and Damian): beautiful sound work. Jakub's atmospheric lighting is cool too. Warsaw should be proud 😄
You did such an incredible job, thanks a lot man!!
What a great trio! So good.
Emmet...Philip & Kyle...AWESOME TRIO !!!
💯 EC3 is always musical magic (and also in whatever combination of performers - love them all)

Was Emmet Cohen a student of Barry Harris?
Thank you for sharing! Great set and the recording sound was nice and clear.
The mix sounds perfect!! So clear and pristine! It also capture all the dynamics, Bravo to the Audio Engineer!
This concert should by your next live album, the music is just absolutely amazing. And Damian Popławski, you're my new hero.

Damn… Philip can really play!
I first really noticed Philip when EC3 was in France (the video with Pat Bartley and Fabien Mary)
Thanks a lot 😊
Meraviglia!
Oh the good old days… Smokey old jazz venue
Fabulous sound tonight! Who's ever recording you is doing an incredible job.
EC3 audio team is second to none - the quality of sound emanating from Emmet's Place is outstanding considering they are recording in his living room!

I'd bet sound and video production is by the crew at the hall in Poland. Yes, excellent! I've yet to hear cymbals from the apartment.

Amazing lightning.
Excellent concert 👏👏👏
una maravilla de concierto..!!
I need to start following your announcments its the 2nd time in a year ive missed out on seeing you come here
These cats swing. Fantabulous set.
I love how in-the-pocket this is! THANKS, Emmet & Co.!! 💋
Really wonderful work
Smoke machine!
Beautiful brothers
Amazing! Thank you.
Great mood
Muito bom ,maravilhoso
Maybe the "smoke" is created by the venue for effect...
Hey Emmet I have been digging your music so hard, I would be honored to be able to take piano lessons with you
Nice sound! Is that smoke effects or in fact a smoky jazz venue?
Are people actually smoking at that joint? Pretty unusual these days. I've not visited a jazz club where smoking was allowed in about 25 years or so. Otherwise, the band is playing great, as always.
Not the healthiest thing playing these smokey European jazz clubs...
