Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s career of public service began in 1985 as an attorney for the environmental nonprofit RiverKeeper. He eventually became one of the most influential environmentalists in the United States, receiving TIME Magazine's "Hero of the Planet” and the Sartisky Peace Award.
Bobby Kennedy Jr. comes from an illustrious political family. The son of Senator Robert F. Kennedy and the nephew of President John F. Kennedy, Bobby Jr. was a lifelong Democrat but became increasingly estranged from the party in the 2010s as it drifted away from its traditional values. He made his final break on October 9, 2023, when he announced his candidacy as an independent for President of the United States.
Bobby has spent nearly 40 years fighting corrupt corporations and government agencies. During his tenure at RiverKeeper, he successfully sued dozens of municipalities to force compliance with the Clean Water Act. He won cases against corporate giants too, including a suit against General Electric for toxic runoff from its corporate jet hangar and a court order against ExxonMobil mandating they clean up tens of millions of gallons of spilled oil in Brooklyn, NY.
Building on the success of the local Riverkeeper model, Bobby co-founded the WaterKeeper Alliance and served as its President for 21 years. Under his direction, it became the world's largest nonprofit devoted to clean water and now protects 2.7 million miles of waterways with over a million volunteers in the United States and 46 other countries.
Bobby Kennedy was involved in other issues during his career as an attorney. He was an early and vocal critic of President Bush's decision to invade Iraq and the US enhanced interrogation program at Guantanamo Bay and around the world. He has also been a devoted supporter of union rights, going on hunger strike with United Farm Workers and serving as a pall-bearer during the funeral of Cesar Chavez. Bobby has consistently argued that those who work hard in the United States should be able to afford a good life.
Bobby’s activism around toxic pollution led him to lobby successfully for the removal of mercury from most childhood vaccinations in the United States. He went on to advocate for the restoration of standard product liability and placebo testing requirements for vaccine manufacturers. The pharmaceutical megacorporations are by far the most heavily fined and criminally prosecuted companies in America, yet also some of the most powerful. His nonprofit, Children’s Health Defense, has long been a key crusader against the corruption of this industry and its influence in government.
Bobby is an avid outdoorsman, master falconer and white water kayaker. He has authored a dozen books on subjects ranging from environmental protection to American history and public life, including children's books on the lives of St Francis of Asisi and Robert Smalls. In October 2011, Bobby founded EcoWatch, a leading environmental news site, and was an editor of Indian Country Today, North America's largest Indigenous newspaper.
Recipient of the Father of the Year award for dedication to family, citizenship, charity, civility, responsibility and reverence, Bobby is the proud father of seven children and grandpa to two grandkids. He is the devoted husband of actress Cheryl Hines and pack leader to four dogs and two giant tortoises.

-genuinely wants to unite the country, and he has the ability to, being liked by many different 'types' of people from across the spectrum of issues and ideas, who are tired of the 2-party duopoly
-calm, humble, has integrity, has courage, truth seeker in general, thinks for himself (not a DNC/RNC puppet)
-not phony
-incorruptible, cannot be bought
-thoughtful and introspective
-deeply considers problems and possible solutions
-wants to get rid of 'Citizens United' and the power of the big private money controlling government
-vocal about putting an end to corporate capture over government (pharma, banks, oil, military industrial complex)
-wants to get us out of 'forever wars' and to pull back on and expose the military industrial complex
-wants to pull back NATO and resolve the Ukraine problem via negotiations
-vocal about the dishonesty and agendas of commercial media
-wants to abolish all pharmaceutical advertisements on television (this has major influence on the 'news' narratives)
-wants to keep the pharmaceutical industry honest with safety testing, transparency, etc
-wants to get rid of government assist crony capitalism and subsidies for big ag, oil, etc
-advocate for civil liberties
-vocally against censorship
-against mandates and police state-like policies
-classic liberal sensibilities with respect of others, without the 'woke' craziness or fake identity politics
-vocal commitment to transparency regarding FBI, CIA, NSA over-stepping and out-stepping
-passionate about environmental and ecological concerns
-passionate about cleaning our food supply and exposing the unhealthy ingredients in processed 'foods'
-wants to bring preventative health more into public discourse; nutrition, exercise, etc
-wants to close the border (this is not some republican scare issue, it is a very major issue - for many reasons)
-has an excellent plan to make homes affordable for all, including a program that backs mortgages at 3% and a tax structure to keep Black Rock from continuing to buy everyone out (this also will bring rent cost down dramatically)
-due to his family/background, he's well-learned from the inside of the various power structures
-due to his decades as an attorney successfully taking on major corporations, as well as government regulatory corruption, he is exceptionally well-suited for taking on the myriad of corporate capture over our government (and the policies which ensue)

He might be polling stronger but poll results might be skewed by corrupt news media. Stranger things have happened. I am a Trump supporter but I listen to RFK Jr at every opportunity because I think he is doing USA a public service just by running and he deserves my attention. I do have two major hesitations Abt him that I would like him to speak to. In choosing Mr. Trump we have a known person who has a fine record as president imo and now a fire in his belly to make America great again. I don't view him as the lesser of two evils at all. II doubt 4 years is enough time to do it but strong leadership can at least get the ball rolling. Two a president nominates Supreme Court justices--that power alone can make or break us. I hesitate over RFK Jr life long commitment to the democratic party. He stayed with them long after their leadership repudiated him publicly and even refusing him Secret Service protection. You can see his hurt and anger in his public testimony before Congress. With that kind of commitment I question how he would go in picking Supreme Court nominees. I'd like to hear him speak to that also . But we have 11 months to form a final opinion if we don't die of BS overload being spewed now. Wish us luck!

The immigration system has flipped my life upside down. The woman I love, my wife, is being told to leave. It doesn't matter that she's saved my life countless times from violent seizures. It doesn't matter that my doctors literally don't want me sleeping or living alone.
I have those problems because I have stage 3 brain cancer. That doesn't matter either. It doesn't matter to ICE, nor does it matter to the FDA, who is sitting on their duffs refusing to move forward with evaluation on DCvaxx, something that has a real chance of giving me another shot at life.

I've made pro Kennedy comments on many hit pieces done on RFK and the one mantra that always gets repeated in the comment pushback is that he's a "liar". I've tried hard to catch him in an actual "lie" and haven't been able too. People have a hard time distinguishing between a difference of "opinion" on a subject and "lying" about something but it's interesting how the "powers that be" have been able to both censor Mr. Kennedy and effectively label him an opportunistic lying flake who doesn't know what he's talking about. Hopefully the majority of the American electorate is smart enough to realize this guy offers a real alternative to the "business as usual" politics that is taking this country over a cliff. For whatever it's worth he has my vote and enthusiastic support.

He certainly makes a very positive impression, although I don't go so far as to sing his praises. The lead-up to the primaries--and, in particular, the early presidential primaries--should be when most Americans form impressions and opinions of the leading contenders. The DNC's determination to destroy all viable opposition to Bribin'-Harris is a dictatorial betrayal of all loyal Americans. Hopefully, RFKJr or Trump will prevail next November.

I forced myself to listen because I want to give this man his time to talk and I think it's important to seek some actual light in the shitstorm that is our 'government'. I've listened to RFKJ a few times lately and I keep feeling impressed for what is for me-the best reasons. First I want to comment on the end of the interview where RFKJ talks about having sued all these companies (EPA, FCC etc.)that are purposefully doing the wrong things-he truly has knowledge about what he's dealing with. Normally I figure our president is an emcee, a rep, sometimes a marionette of sorts and none with real skill in what needs to be done for the people and the Earth-this guy knows the down and dirty, he knows what he's dealing with and from what he just said he knows what needs to be stopped right now--he's not giving out snow jobs here. I could stand alongside this. I agree on so many levels on what is wrong here. I remember when I was being severely bullied by pro vaccination people you were out there warning folks. In this country rhetoric is used for evil. We don't just need someone using rhetoric for good, though people need to understand what rhetoric is and how it is used against Americans. We need someone who can really see what's there and do things about it. We also need to move beyond a two party system, well, ages ago. Two sides of the same coin and it's all screw the people and the Earth for others profit. Independent. I am going to keep listening and I will think in your direction!

I am also a Baby Boomer. Two years younger than Bobby, as we called his Dad also. I remember when Senator Kennedy was on the campaign trail, when he and his Wife stopped in our town, this was 1968 of course. He was at the podium at our local mall, in NO. CALIF. My Brother and I were 12 and 10 respectively, but we were small, so we were right up front at the podium. When Sen. Kennedy was through with his speech he stepped away from the podium and my little Brother bent down to pick up something and fell over the Sen. shoe. Sen. Kennedy leaned over and picked him up and put him upright and we never forgot about that. He and Mrs. Kennedy were riding in an open convertible outside our mall. You would never see that today as well as see someone up close and personal like we did Once Upon A Time, with good reason. It wasn't but a couple of days later he was shot in L.A.
Pray for our candidates' safety... our present USA admin owns our 3-letter agencies... no one running is safe except Obiden.

I am an anesthesist nurse, interested in the growing crowd of people healing their chronic illnesses by eating only meat. But not a single channel by doctors who are diving deep into the science behind the theories of carnivore diet for humans is not suppressed in some way. Ads for insulin is a big one right now.

In 2 and a half years at my job I've moved up to the highest level you can reach without becoming a manager, and my pay has increased by $6 in that time. Yet with the way the prices of everything is increasing, I barely notice the difference due to me having to pay more for everything. It feels like even if you work hard and get ahead, you're just working harder doing more stuff for the same lifestyle you had when you started.
