thank you for saving me from endless youtube random 'jazz'','nu jazz' ,'lo fi' 'chill hop' playlists ,this is the shittt
adding to my own post , i just want to say that nothing compares to listening to real albums by monstrous musicians making amazing music
@@Jean_loop i know the feel bro. MOTK is on a whole other planet
Saw these dudes live at a Tera Melos concert a couple of years ago, had never heard of them before. They're even better live.
31:50 this is one of the most uplifting, mysterious and mesmerizing melodies I've heard in my life...the rhythm section also is insane in the whole track
Their version of Le Gibet is absolutely devastating.
These guys are just awesome, I started exploring japanese jazz because of them
Same here. This was my introduction into Japanese Prog Jazz
check out ryo fukui and fox capture plan!
Hilbert Dub is a track that, when I first heard a year ago, I didn't really like that much, but has with time grown on me and now I feel it's one of their best songs ever.
First time I hear it, it's amazing! They play in Qc City in 2 days, I'm so busy right now but I'll def try to grab a ticket. Seeing them live must be something!
I hear you - one just has to stay open and listen without memory and comparison/analysing.. many Jazz listeners/musicians have that problem and so there won't be a dance...
Good old taste test.. those chords in the first song together with the rhythm - oh and melodies don't need no words...
Incredible! Masters of percussion! the enlightenment of the strings.
Mouse on the keys is awesome!
beautiful.
I don't know why but switching to 1.25x speed for me its pure gold 😂. I'm a TMV fan
This is one of those bands that gives you chills.
the first song is so intense.
Loving this album, thanks!
Huge fan of Mouse on the Keys. If you like them as well, check out the bands Toe and BADBADNOTGOOD.

You are both my type of people.
-edit: I'm going to throw Jimmy Chamberlain Complex, Mark Guiliana (Beat Music), JoJo Mayer and Nerve, Bonobo (live) and Tycho in with this list.
So much Electronica and Jazz influenced, imaginative music coming I can't help but be happy :D
I must be in that weird part of youtube where the comments are actually good.
Sebastian Pietsch You are, stay here with us and only venture out when you truly feel ready

wow, what a strong track to end on.
Omg dance of life
Really cool band!
Mirror of nature is so good
The drummer for this band is filthy
Most def but mad respects to the entire trio for sure
Seriously, incredibly talented band
Saw him live at the fuji rock festival. SUCH A BLAST
Obsidi0n
Do they tour outside Japan ?
They played the States for the first time last year. They said they wanna come back. Pretty sure they've done Europe too.
This band should really consider pressing more LPs, it's unbelievable that you can't get any single one of them on vinyl.
6:04 Jean Sibelius
29:42 Phillip Glass
wonderful resources
Damn near lost my mind learning Reflexion on drums
Im in the same process bro
Where's the video?
drummer is a mathematician
Leviathan is insane.
No idea why, but 4:04 reminds me of "Broadway" from "SimCity 3000".
leviathan is a banger
Hamster in a piano!
Where can I even buy these newer albums
How do they make that filthy deep bassy sound? What equipment do they use??
You'd be able to emulate that with a bass through a sub-octave pedal (and in places a filter), but I'm pretty sure live they don't have a bassist, so maybe they run the keyboard through a similar effect or use a patch. Will see them early next year in the States and find out.
thanks for pointing this out, I'll have to look up where!
le fleurs du mal XDXDXD
The hottest band in the world right now.
Is the drummer ok?
👻👾👻👾👻👾
10:21, my god....
I know. Beautiful
22:20 要這麼瘋?
我是賈伯思 送-Hilburt dub
