Nice thickness sander .. My only thought is : you do know they've invented better glues ? When the center seam separates, its usually put together with Hyde glue or fish glue ... Original Titebond glue is used by Martin and other top grade Luthiers for a reason.... If Stradivarius had access to Titebond, he would have used that instead.. Fish glue releases easy in dry weather .... Not all of the old school Luthier things are good today..
@gamete4375 If anyone can notice the tone difference they have amazing hearing... I have heard this over and over .. yet if I placed 2 instruments in front of you , one made with Hide glue and one out of Titebond you wouldn't be able to tell which one was which....what affects, noticeable, tone is the materials like woods, saddle, strings, and bracing and workmanship...and of course strings and saddle are the probably the most immediate a person can manipulate...and even the pick material and thickness itself can make a difference. But the glue ? I remember the first scarring joint break I took to a luthier. It was a mandolin that he used hide glue... the repair lasted a couple months... after I became a luthier, I repaired it with titebond original...It's been about 6 years now and it's holding up well... hide glue is old technology... so we hy keep it other than to repair original antiques to maintain their monetary value ? If you have a road instrument, you sure as heck don't want it put together with hide glue... because it would ha e to be repaired constantly because of seams separating... I stand by it still and say you'd never notice the sound difference even if you could duplicate 2 builds..
Ink Green turn the sound off? And then if the video has sound that is actually relevant, you miss it? Would have been nice to hear some of the sounds of the process…tapping the board and having text that says something about it sounding good without hearing it….less than ideal I stopped watching

Круто. Попробую повторить эту конструкцию. Липучка для наждачной бумаги жива? Как себя показала??
Very good video! Does the drum spin towards the direction of the wood or against it?

JP Rognvald Why not turn the sound down then?
For whatever reason you think that people who make good videos always accompany them with good music. The music played here is really bad.
Why not turn the sound down then? x2
