The classic train between Lille - Paris is comeback. On January 16 2021 the Hauts-de-France region and the SNCF launched the first TER from Lille-Flandres to Paris-Nord. Afer 30 years abandoned since arrival TGV and closing Corail.
The two return trips between the two cities will only run on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays.
Here are the train schesule
Lille 9:12 am - Paris 11:25 am.
Paris 10:22 am - Lille 12:32 pm.
Lille 7:12 pm - Paris 9:29 pm
Paris 6:28 pm - Lille 8:52 pm
This TER also serves Douai, Arras, Longueau and Creil, will also allow inhabitants of the south of the Hauts-de-France region to reach Lille without a connection via Paris or Amiens.
The TER journey time is 2 hours 10 minutes. It's slower than the TGV Paris-Lille (around 1 hour 10 minutes) but it is also cheaper: with a price of 10 euros (promotional price available online only), and 1 euro for children. under 12 years old (free for children under 4),

Good that they brought the 'normal' train back, but I am not sure about the train interior. 2hrs in a subway setting is not nice : The hard white light is not nice. And more so, 2+3 seating ?! how do adults fit in with 3 ?! As a kid we would be 4 on the back seat of the car ...but with 3 adults in this train? 🙄

where do you get luggage tag for your luggage when boarding these trains? I keep seeing people use the tags but don't know where to get them. And do you have to confirm your ticket somehow? Like in a machine?

Sorry, as far I know there is no luggage tag for this train.. I buy ticket on machine and just tap in the train

J'ai acheté le billet de TER sur l'application SNCF Connect. Ou sinon vous pouvez l'acheter à la machine qui est disponible à la gare

Ce trajet là est effectué uniquement par la ligne K12, qui circule uniquement les weekends et jours fériés, et ce 2 fois par jour, donc c'est un train assez rare
Il dessert les gares de Paris Nord, Creil, Longueau, Arras, Douai et Lille Flandres
