I’m thinking the car is a total loss with that much water damage. When you opened the doors and the water poured out it was sort of humorous. Were the keys in it? Alligators!! Now that not something I even thought about. Do you get hazard pay?
This video reminds me of what happened a few years ago when I was pulling a malibu out of a creek. Except I needed a tow to get out of the mud when my truck sank after I had it loaded
There was or least it looked like a handicap placard washed out of the passenger side and was on the ground with other debris, maybe thru editing I didn't see it put back in the car. Just saying in case anybody maybe looking for it.

Ever thought about doing a reverse winch pull with a shackle? I have seen a few guys on here that do that to pull vehicles off backwards with locked up wheels.
OH OH another idea. You've been on a couple jobs that are on a slope. What do you think of getting a couple of inexpensive metal chocks and weld a row of bolts on the bottom side. Then take a hand grinder and grind them into a spike of some kind and as long as you think will work. SORRY for the ideas I can't help it. .
That is were all those foreign cars belong anyway. Were you on the road when you got this call? Do you have a wet suit? You seem to be a outside sports kind of guy. If you were at the yard when you got the call and had a wet suit you could have changed there. Then wear your work close over it.

100% totaled. Engine is probably hydrolocked, and all the electronics are destroyed
I’m A BMW Mechanic I tell you the engine stuffed it’s a lot of money to be replaced as well as all other accessories electronics ecu and other stuff

Some flood cars can be fixed depending on how much damage. it will be at Copart recovery yard j think.

I know we send a bill to the name that's on the registration on the vehicle. But I'm sure other towing companies might have different policies
