Vintage Story Desert Life Ep 63: Exploring... Well, Starting to Explore Langstroth Bee Hives

Vintage Story Desert Life is a desert-themed survival playthough in version 1.19, with a large list of mods to speed up the process of building and chiseling. While our builds will all (or at least mostly) be in the desert, we are not restricted to hot and arid climates for the purposes of gathering materials and resources.
This series exists as a series of VODs, as well, but for people who prefer their videos in a more manageable length, the VODs will be cut into these shorter episodes and released throughout the week after each livestream, provided that there is enough desire for this format.

There is a mod called gimme one seed plz, that helps with making sure you can repopulate trees. When you fell a tree it guarantees one seed is dropped but doesn’t affect the rate of drop from shears on leaves.

Ha! 14 to 72 Resin... now THAT is what the Tappers mod is supposed to be like. Im guessing you were simply checking them too often before, or Acacia might actually yield less often compared to Pine as Pine is all i have ever tapped and i have uet to see any acacia anywhere.

Yeah, I think I was just checking them too frequently. I'm used to the Guide series, where I sometimes played for multiple in-game days between episodes or shots, so things replenished a lot sooner!

Can You tap a tree on all sides of the block?

No, when I first went out and added the taps a few streams ago, we found out it only allows one tap per log. Which is fair, since this pretty much multiplies the output by about 6!
