Wow all new equipment you have there, bet those things haven’t touched water yet, some of your rods gonna be a pain to reach but your setup is quick and easy to install 👍
In my opinion, I think that the rods should be closer to the driver. I have a aquatrax r12x never fished it, but I will this summer. I like the rack, I like the style, except the rod holders. Dope set up!
Yup …all the amenities and more…it’s not a boat , loaded down especially in the rear ever tried getting back on from the back ?… or even from the side ?… ski will tend to stand nose up and roll over…I’ve loaded my fish bag 1/2 way on my 3 person ski fishing by myself with only 2 poles even with a high capacity ski and large deck putting weight on rear corner it wanted to roll …it was so off balance it porpoised all the way bac in to shore…when I got to shore I entered the water and climbed back on the rear and literally stood the ski up in the air it then wanted to roll to side…took some fish out ( tuna ) until i was able to climb back on from rear safely…and with margin because i did it in calm water…tried from side loaded the ski wasn’t having it…my other Freind had a large tuna on his sled in a bag 19 miles out in the pacific .. he got rolled …with multiple tries he wasn’t able to roll it… detached fish bag sled and was able to get it back upright…although he has put extra straps to secure seat and hatches he got a lot of water in engine compartment…luckily it started ….a warning to you j/skiers ..it’s a great platform to fish from but remember when you start putting a lot on rear deck especially coolers with nominal weight make sure you’re able to get back on from rear or side, know the limitations before you head out…rule of thumb is the more amenities you got the more top heavy it becomes and the less chance you’re goin to roll it back over if it’s bolted down…being safe is having fun 👍🏼
Great advice Barry! It was for that specific reason we design Jet Ski/ PWC Collars. Collars adds certified positive buoyancy to Jet Ski's that allows you to carry extra weight on the back with out the risk of overloading your ski. They are low profile, can't deflate and will keep your ski afloat. Check them out www.jetskifishingmob.com.au/
Ok, something I don't understand...these fishing rigs look really cool and I do have a ski that I was thinking of rigging but my major hold up is the thought of getting thrown or a rollover....how the hell would anybody get back on a ski that has all that gear strapped to the rear deck platform????
looks like the Jerry Cans could be a good 6" or more lower. And it holds the chest 3" off the deck. Why not lash chest directly to the deck, then lash the JCs to the chest?
sorry to be so off topic but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
@Soren Eddie i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
FYI, check your load rating on the Fishpro mounting brackets. Nothing more than 14kg,,, that includes the bin. Doesn't leave you with much space for fishing gear.
