Thank you for sharing your recipes. I love your ideas and your sweet voice. We started Keto May 2021. I have lost a little over 50 pounds. My husband and I are both diabetics. We use CarbQuik. We love the cheddar biscuits, but your options are so helpful. I plan to try some of your CarbQuik tips and recipes 🥰.
I’ve just started keto at the end of September and have been craving pancakes, your keto recipes are a game changer, I’m so afraid of falling off the keto wagon because I miss some of the things I used to eat. Keep the keto recipes coming.
You're a CarbQuik genius! Thank you! I made some brownies from CarbQuik last night and they were so dry. This video just freed me to alter their recipes.
Made these tonight - really enjoyed the modified recipe! Thank you for sharing. My wife, who isn't necessarily a full participant in my low carb journey (yet) also enjoyed the pancakes. I enjoy finding ways to enjoy these kinds of meals with much lower carbs and no sugar - I'm not diabetic and want to avoid it, with options like this, I find the path much more tolerable and easy. Quick recipe - and I watched my consistency, didn't need water in my case. I've got more Carbquick on the way! Thanks again for your efforts!
Good morning! Fairly new subscriber here. I just made these pancakes. They were delicious. Much better than the recipe on the box. I also find carbquik recipes to require alot more liquid than they mention on the box. I'm so glad I found your channel. I'm making your biscuits next. As a diabetic it's nice to have a product like carbquik. And a youtuber to make recipes with it. Take care. I'm enjoying looking back at your keto recipes
Hi, Debbie! I finally have been in a financial place where I could purchase this CarbQuick flour. I am so very thankful as your channel was the first to come to mind! I am sharing all of your CarbQuick recipes on my FB page. I appreciate you! #KetoOn!
Your recipes are amazing and look absolutely delicious! I was wondering, if you had used carbonated water instead of regular water, would that make a difference?
Such great information! Keep rambling, its all good stuff! Thank you for doing these videos,I so enjoy them. I have used carbquick a lot, but, like you didn't like the results. But thanks to your time and efforts I will be trying them again. God bless you for all your hard work!
Thank you so much! I can’t wait to try them! I wasn’t crazy about the original ones I made. I added some butter and stevia when I made biscuits but they were that great either. Has anyone told you that You sound like Paula Deen
Looking at the mixture in that mixing bowl, it looks stiff and would make A very thick pancake. Which doesn’t look or seem appetizing to me . I would like a looser textured for my pancakes. I love your videos. I also like thinner pancakes that are rich tasting.
Here is what I do for one pancake: 1/3 cup carb quick and add 1 T. egg beaters and 1 - 2 T. half and half until right consistency - fry in butter. Makes a nice fluffy pancake.
Hmm I've noticed that you're right about CarbQuicck is not quite like regular flour. I going to try and let it sit over night to re-hydrate properly. Thanks!
I just found your channel and I could listen to you talk for hours. Hope you are doing well with this virus and I’ll be searching foe more of your videos 🤍☺️
Hi Debbie! How was the batter after it being overnight in the fridge? I'm finally getting around to making some and I'll have to put the remaining batter in the fridge. Thanks!
It was actually better. As I have been working with CarbQuick I find that given more time and a little less liquid, your results are better. Now I think I need this for my supper tonight.
@@DebbiesBackPorch Well this is good to know as I have mine in the refrigerator awaiting tomorrow's breakfast. They were so good and very filling. Thanks so much and enjoy your dinner :)
I enjoy your recipes. I make pancakes and they are just the same taste as regular. I made a yellow cake just the regular way and ate three pieces went for a walk my sugar went down!
thanks so much. i will try these. i am thinking i will cut the recipe in half somehow because i only cook for one. Or do they freeze well after cooking.?
Cabrquick states 2 net grams per 1/3 cup of mix in nutrition information on box. So, you are correct 6g per cup. I've made these with almond milk and eventhough I cooked them a long time and the tops are dry before I flip them they are a bit wet inside. Kills the texture for me.
Hey Debbie! Currently making your biscuits (again) for Jake for christmas dinner. Saw this one and had to watch. Wondering though, I was looking at your instructions and you say 1 stick or 1/4 cup of butter. Are you using the half sticks of butter or is it supposed to be a 1/2 cup? Thanks!
Thanks, I'm going to try this. Have you ever worked with carbalose flour? Since Carbquik works so well I'm am tempted to order and play with it. I have had great success with LCHF, love baking and cannot use almond flour for health reasons. (high oxalate and I form kidney stones)
CarbQuick is not flour and the texture will never be exactly the same as flour. That said, these were not "Mushy" for me, but pancakes really should be soft.
I have never used almond milk, but it should work. I would add a teaspoon of lemon juice to the almond milk for the acid to react with the baking powder to get some lightness. The buttermilk has that acidity but almond milk won't. Again, I haven't tried it, but that is what I suggest. Let me know how it turns out.,
I'm sorry you're always eating alone, Debbie. It makes me sad. But hey, look on the bright side - you may just land yourself a date by posting these videos! Who wouldn't want a sweet lady who can cook?
You're sweet, Matthew. I don't always eat alone. I have lots of family. It is just easier to make a video when I am alone in the kitchen. Not looking for a date, though. I am 71 and very busy.
I believe I listed it as 6 grams per cup, 12 grams per recipe. How is that different? If you look at their recipes they list it per the recipe, but I am using different ingredients so I have to calculate differently.

You got this!
Oh my gosh, I don't know if its because I haven't eaten pancakes in so long, but these are the best pancakes I've ever eaten :)
I actually think they taste like buckwheat pancakes. They are good. Thanks for watching.
Ty. My wife in love with her mother's day breakfast

@@DebbiesBackPorch do you think I could make dumplings with this?

Many folks have told me my recipe for biscuits has more salt than they like. Just letting you know.

The pancakes looks delicious, now I want to eat pancakes 😁😁😁🥞🥞🥞 Thanks for sharing Debbie👍🏻👍🏻
I enjoyed this video and your narration. Very thorough and informative
I may have to try this with almond milk instead of the buttermilk as it has a few to many carbs.
I just ordered some carbquik to try this recipe. I miss pancakes so much being on keto. I’m loving your channel.

What if you can't find buttermilk? Will one cup of milk n a little vinegar do?
I so love watching your videos . Thanks for sharing yummy recipes

Here is what I do for one pancake: 1/3 cup carb quick and add 1 T. egg beaters and 1 - 2 T. half and half until right consistency - fry in butter. Makes a nice fluffy pancake.
I just keep the batter in the fridge for the next batch.

Fantastic work.
How was the better the following day. I would 1/2 recipe make 2 and save the rest for another day, so how was batter after setting overnight
It was just fine. I added a few drops of water and stirred it well.
I enjoy your recipes. I make pancakes and they are just the same taste as regular. I made a yellow cake just the regular way and ate three pieces went for a walk my sugar went down!
That is awesome!
thanks so much. i will try these. i am thinking i will cut the recipe in half somehow because i only cook for one. Or do they freeze well after cooking.?
I have never tried to freeze them, but the batter lasts 2 days in the fridge. Just stir it well before using.
Those look absolutely amazing! Going to buy some buttermilk and baking powder today so I can make them according to your recipe! 🤤🤤🤤
Hope you enjoy!
Thank you so much for this, you explained it so well, thumbs up

Sounds like the sound skipped. It is half a stick. I will add a note. Thanks for catching that.
Love your videos and recipes
Thank you so much 😊
Thank you
Nice. Thanks
How did the batter hold up the next day when you made more? Have you tried making waffles with CQ?
The batter was just fine the next day. In fact, better. I have not tried waffles. I don't have a waffle iron.
Thanks, I'm going to try this. Have you ever worked with carbalose flour? Since Carbquik works so well I'm am tempted to order and play with it. I have had great success with LCHF, love baking and cannot use almond flour for health reasons. (high oxalate and I form kidney stones)
I don't have buttermilk today. Should I add vinegar to cream?
Yes, you can
How long should I wait before turning the pancake over? When my pancakes bubble and I turn it over, the batter runs.
When you can lightly touch the batter and it is almost dry. Try 15 seconds after you see bubbles.
Yummy yummy 😁 looks really good 💕💕👍👍👍👍👍
Fantastic .. thank you 😊
Thank you too!
Love blintzes
Do you have a carb quick poundcake?
No. You may find one on the CarbQuick website.
look delicious!
Yum!!!👍👍👍
I know this is an old video but I just can’t get this stuff to turn out. Always very mushy. Anyone have suggestions.
CarbQuick is not flour and the texture will never be exactly the same as flour. That said, these were not "Mushy" for me, but pancakes really should be soft.
Gosh no can't tell you why they're mushy?????? Strange.....
Can someone tell me if it still works with almond milk. I’m lactose intolerant.

I have looked for carbquick but think you must have got it on line if so where and how much was it ?
Amazon. It is expensive, but comparable to other low carb flours. smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DTII3VC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
What kind of syrup do you use Debbie?
This is a generic sugar free I got at WAlmart.
Mrs. Buttersworth Sugar Free tastes just like the real thing. Not as thick but delicious.
You are the best thank you 😊
Thank you.

Taste better with peanut butter
You're wrong I looked at the box and it is 2 net grams of carbs per 1/3 cup of the mix

I just watched it again and I see where I misspoke. It is listed correctly in the info section.
Thank you I can't wait to try this🤗😁
