- I took a rickshaw ride in Asakusa driven by a very cute girl driver, Nechi-chan!
Nechi-chan is a rickshaw driver who made her debut end of last year.
She is a blonde girl rickshaw driver, which is rare in Asakusa.
This time, Nechi and I went to Asakusa on New Year's Day for Hatsumode.😊

2nd time watching this video having Nechi chan running and touring with her rickshaw. I saw her in other videos and found her looking so familiar to someone. Now, I can say Nechi chan looks like Okana Nanako chan. Not sure how many viewers know about Nanako chan. I'm not promoting her channel while she's already so famous in YT. I'm sure GTJT knows about Nanako chan. They both got that cute smile and talking gesture.

GTJT, would a JLPT N4 or N5 level of Japanese proficiency (at best I'm N4 at worst N5) be enough to communicate with the rickshaw drivers because I don't want to trouble them to try to speak in English for me. I've seen videos of some of them (rickshaw girls) struggle a bit in communicating in English, so I might as well make the adjustment and not the rickshaw girls.

I would guess that you can communicate with many drivers without problems if you use N5 level of Japanese Language Proficiency Test and English. 😊
